Hi, my name is Jennifer. My friends call me Jenn. I don't mind being called anything except Jenny. It just doesn't suit me.
I love to write. It's my passion, and my means of escape. I'm a big fan of songfics and of one-shots. I develop OCs quite easily, and only have a few that I am truly attached to, such as Dr. Leda Elizabeth Barnes and Annabelle Leah Price. I enjoy reading literature, as well as writing it. I adore Max Lucado books, and will read them multiple times. I surprisingly have enjoyed almost everything I have read in my AP Literature course, but my favorites have probably been The Poisonwood Bible and Death of a Salesman. I am obsessed with JK Rowling and Harry Potter. She is an amazing author. In addition, I am an angsty at heart - when I write angst fics, you might want to prepare yourself with a box of tissues. But I also enjoy the occasional fluffy writing - anything that will make me melt on the inside is good.
I could not live without my music. Music is the heartbeat of my life, and I can listen to multiple genres. I love anything from Nickelback to Relient K to Billy Joel, and everything in between. The Fray has graced the top of my list for some time now. But apart from regular pop/rock music, I am obsessed with musicals and musical theatre. My favorite show is Wicked but I also love classics like Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera. Musicals from all walks of life also grace my iPod: Spamalot, Jekyll & Hyde, RENT, West Side Story, Hairspray, Chicago, Grease, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Wedding Singer, Little Women: The Musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Fiddler on the Roof, Footloose, Godspell, The Last Five Years, Songs for a New World, etc. Basically, I am addicted to music. It's actually where I get the most inspiration from.
In addition to that information, I am a Christian, and am very strong in my faith. I don't write anything that is explicit, and try to live according to what I believe. I am not perfect, but being a Christian doesn't mean perfection. Therefore, faith is being sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we do not see. -- Hebrews 11:1
I'm deathly afraid of bugs, but more specifically roaches, spiders, and bees. I love the color blue. I have way too many lotions from Bath and Body Works. I love being a dork, and enjoy making sarcastic comments. I have never colored or dyed my hair. I collect earrings, and am especially fond of chandellier earrings. If I had a lot of money, I might just buy out Claire's and The Icing. I am usually always smiling, and laugh at anything. I've always wanted to be a princess, and love being treated like one. I can be initially shy, but am anything but that once you get to know me. I will defend my friends and it pains me to see them hurting. I am extremely emotional and will cry at just about anything. I love Disney movies, but have been to Walt Disney World so many times that I could find my way around there with my eyes closed. I hate the color yellow. I used to collect beanie babies and have a ton of them still in my closet. I used to be obsessed with NSync and wanted to marry Justin Timberlake. I've only been out of the country twice in my life - both my junior and senior year to go to Brazil on a missions trip. I'm pretty much of a normal person, who is just trying her best to live her life to the fullest.
