Author has written 5 stories for Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy I-VI, Final Fantasy VIII, and Final Fantasy VII. *NEW UPDATE (9-12-04) ~ Uhhhh...yeah, it's been awhile. I'm afraid the fanfics are going on hold for an unknown amount of time. I'm just too busy right now with school and some real writing projects I'm doing (ya know, the kind you get paid for), so I don't have a lot of time for this. I still really want to write the other two books in the Lux Aeterna series, hopefully I will find time to do that one day.

The name's Steven and I'm currently studying creative writing at the University of North Texas.
Why Fanfics? Well, because I've never really liked fanfics. I've always felt that authors get carried away (yes, if you actually read the "Lux" I give you permission to fry me for that statement) and don't talk about the source, the game, the movie, the whatever. Of course, I'll only be doing game fics, but I think that stands for most genres. I'm not a fan of "five years later" scenarios and I don't dig unlikely love stories. I'm looking to explore the events of the game, what brought them about, and what happended during that timeline.
My very first fanfic, "Chuck, You're Animated" is a challenge of that idea. It has seemingly nothing to do with the game, and yet it has everything to do with a very small part of it, a small part of something actually IN the game. I hope you all enjoy it. (Oh yeah, and I actually consider myself a rather classical writer, my stuff usually isn't like this, I swear.)
I go against this idealogy in one instance: game novelizations. This is the time to break out the new stuff. Everyboby already knows what happens, so that's when you should shake it up.
