3/24/08: No, you're eyes aren't deceiving you. I updated Witch Doctor Incident. I just have one chapter left so I'm going to slink off to a corner to write that and finish typing up the next chapter of Orbits of Glass.

11/19/07: I know it has been forever and a day since I posted anything. I'm going through some tough personal issues right now and typing has fallen by the wayside. I still write in my notebooks but the muses have dissappeared from my Danny Phantom and Teen Titans stories. Personally I think my new muses tied them up and locked them in a closet. If you find them please let me know. I'm doing better muse-wise with my Guardians story. Unfortunately most of the creativity is focusing itself on an idea I have for a Fullmetal Alchemist story. I'll try to work on OoG and WDI but real life and the other muses have different ideas.

Artistic License: Things that differ from DP Cannon in the OoG universe.

1. Danny's parents do not know that he is Danny Phantom. This is an AU after Season Two Reality Trip.

2. Jazz is a Senior when Danny is a Freshman. In OoG she skipped a grade in elementary school which means she graduated 2005 but is 16-17 during the school year.

3. Umm...the DP emblem is gone on Danny's jumpsuit. Personally, I think it is too superheroish for Orbits and the symbol works in a better place...like as a tattoo (the scary thing is that I'm not kidding).

4. The official timeline is as follows, including future stories in this universe. Contains Spoilers!!

Timeline for the Orbits of Glass Universe

May 2005 - Senior Prom for Jazz and Dan's attack (First Revolution - future story if I ever get the nerve to write it)

MidAugust 2005 - MVA, the car accident Jazz and Danny are in that causes Jazz's paralysis.

Late September 2005 - Oneshot involving a Bull and a China shop (no title yet - future story)

Late October 2005 - Jazz's and Danny's seperate suicide attempts (the beginning of Tilting the Axis - future story)

Early November 2005 - Hunters called to Amity Park and the Ghost Patrol is started.

January 12th, 2006 - The Witch Doctor kidnaps children and the Hunters enter the GZ (The Witch Doctor Incident)

May 2006 - The Ghost Patrol is made official.

April 2007 - Robin of the Teen Titans ends up in Amity Park and things happen (Orbits of Glass)

5. Theory of the Ghost Zone: I got a review for WDI that asked ‘If Danny loses that much power and then consciousness, won't he detransform?’. It's a two part answer why Danny doesn't detransform in the Ghost Zone

a. From the episodes I've seen where Danny used the Wail, TUE especially, I figured that with short bursts of the wail he doesn't detransform right away. The very first time he used it (and the only time in the GZ I think) only his head transfomed, the rest was still Phantom. And in the Christmas episode he was able to do multiple short blasts before he started to transform. I figured with only two short burst while in the Ghost Zone he wouldn't transform completely or loose consciousness.

b. The second part is the Ghost Zone itself. I odn't think I've seen an episode yet where Danny looses consiousness in the GZ and transforms to human (but I may be wrong, please tell me if I am). I vaguely remember the episode where Jazz got involved with hunting and ended up at Vlad's. Skulker trapped Danny in the GZ and he didn't transform when knocked out (at least I think he got knocked out, it's been a while), same thing with Valerie and the flour sack. My theor is that the GZ is composed of ecto in various states and the natural ectoplasm in the air would aid Danny, giving him a better chance of staying in ghost mode if hurt and/or unconscious. That's why he stayed as Phantom in WDI chapter 2 when he fell asleep in the speeder. That's why he's still Phantom after the wails and injuris in WDI chapter 3 (but he's still conscious...right now)

6. Again this is AU after DP Season Two. I don't have cable or a dish and I haven't seen any of the new episodes so just pretend they don't exist.

10/9/06 - I figured I would share this with everyone. This was my response to a message sent to me. It explains why I haven't updated any of my stories in the past couple of months and why UG's been over a year.

I probably owe you and all of my faithful and anxious readers an apology. When I last updated UG (over a year ago, wow) I hated the story. I had writers block and forced myself to complete the chapter. Instead of something I loved to work on, I hated the story. I hated writing for a time so I walked away. I had to find what I loved about it and find new inspiration. Months passed and I got a new idea. It wasn't for UG but it wouldn't leave me alone so I started Orbits of Glass. I paced myself and tried to avoid the trap that I fell for with UG. UG got to big for me and I had to walk away and go a different direction.

Months passed, winter turned to spring and spring turned to summer. With summer I started to look for a house to buy of my own. I found it and bought it and it took up all my spare time. I even dreamed about painting and fixing up my house.

In August, I finally picked up my hardcopy of Untried Guardians and read it for the first time in a year, falling in love with it all over again. I started playing with it in my few precious moments of spare time. I figured I would have the time to work on it once I finished moving into my new house.

Well, nothing in my life ever goes as planned. About three weeks ago my mom was diagnosed with a brain tumor on her brain stem near where the spinal cord exits the skull. It's in a bad spot and next monday she is going down to UW-Madison for brain surgery, a ten to fourteen hour procedure. Needless to say my brain is mush, I'm trying to paint and work on my house completely by myself. Me and my whole family is worried sick about my mom. I've been spending as much free time with her and trying to clean and cook and take care of things since she is feeling weak and gets tired very easily right now.

I haven't giving up on UG or my other two stories. I've tried to sit down and write. After about an hour all I have is a blank sheet of paper.

I will have a new chapter for Untried Guardians up by the end of the year, same for Orbits of Glass and The Witch Doctor Incident. It may take a couple of months but give me time. In my life my family comes first and then my job. I enjoy writing but it gets pushed to the back burner when I don't have the time.
