I got married on Friday.
Yes, I'm Mrs. Masako Boxy now (Boxy's his typical username online).
In case it isn't glaringly obvious, I've been rather busy trying to get everything together, which is why I haven't written anything more than the passing Scenario, as well as a few drabbles for the KH_Drabble community, which nobody actually reads anyway.
Tragedy of tragedies, my husband has only seen a single episode of Avatar (which I showed him, because he needed to practice his German. The King of Omashu loses a few of its puns when translated into another language).
I assure you he will be fully indoctrinated within a week of the honeymoon, at which point I will be writing more here. :D

I have just completed Week 1 of an exclusive 21 day trial run of Hell. It's hot down there, and they do quite a lot of studying.
Yes, this Friday marked the end of the terrified cram before the IB tests. But there are some positive points.
POINT A: I will be probably be able to start writing again after this is done. My teachers don't have much for us to do after the end of the tests, so I'll have a lot more free time. Until then, I'll try to post some of my Snapshots: itty bitty things inspired by The Boiling Rock that I managed to type up in the fifteen minute breaks between homework and studying. There's four right now; could be more later.
POINT B: OH WOW DID YOU... DID YOU SEE THE NEW EPISODES? GARGLE!SPLAT!! Yes, that was my official statement. It seems that there has been a leak somewhere in Nick Studios, and the new episode has taken the internet by storm. It was funny, it was dramatic, it was shocking, it was heartwarming, it was fangasm-worthy. Yes, it was that good. And you know all this, because I've posted all this spoiler-ridden stuff that I wrote in a fit of inspiration whilst I should have been studying.
I must also add, with a twinge of regret, that I have...kinda warmed up to Mai/Zuko. DO NOT BE ALARMED. I am still a die-hard Zutara... but if it absolutely had to be, I wouldn't hang myself.

Twitch, writhe, wriggle, moan
Gah. Failed in my resolution. Posted two things here, though (one Avatar, one Sluggy Freelance, for those who are interested), and one on Fictionpress. I cannot, will not promise more updates just yet. Those will have to wait until after both the IB tests and my wedding, because frankly, I'm swamped. I completely underestimated the amount of time and effort necessary to deal with both of those, and I apologize. But you will hear from me.
I also wanted to apologize if I've been sounding a bit snippy in my author's notes--it's unintentional, I promise. I really shouldn't abuse my readers, and I'm sorry.
I will get another itty bitty ficlet out before the debut of The Boiling Rock, after which you are free to make fun of just how off I am in my predictions.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you, my beloved readers.
I'm on a slight Kingdom Hearts binge, but I'm anxiously awaiting more Avatar, and I owe Kya (and the rest of you) a bunch of stories, so expect a good turnout. And what about New Year's Resolutions?
-Update as much as possible and finish at least one of the many open-ended series I have
...Progress: None yet.
-Finish at least one of my books and get through the first stage of editing
...Progress: ...um...
-Finally get married to my Fiance of roughly a year and a half
...Progress: Done with my bridal shower, still have to book a DJ and get my dress, and the marriage license.
-Move out of my house, get an apartment with him, and try not to go bankrupt during my first year of marriage
-Finish making my wedding dress before Valentine's Day so I have some leeway time to fix any mess-ups before the actual wedding.
...Progress: FAIL. I've decided to modify a dress I'm going to buy instead.
-Begin College without exploding
-Get at least one of the scholarships I applied for
...Progress: SUCCESS. :)
...What? No "Lose 50 lbs?" No "Solve World Hunger?" No "Cure Cancer?" Nope. If these past two years have taught me anything, it's to not take on more than I can chew, and my life is filled with enough major changes this year.
But I do have something for you:

Basically, here are some creative prompts for you guys to work on. So far, they're all Avatar, but that will change when I figure out other challenges. Send me a Private Message with the title of your story and I'll take a look at it, and decide a winner. All submissions will be posted on a C2, and the winner will recieve an award and be announced on the C2.
1) The Three Bachelors
Choose three canon characters of the same sex and have them go out on the town.
Rules:
- Aang, Zuko, Sokka, and Katara may not appear anywhere in the fic.
- At least one (1) of the Bachelors must flirt with at least one (1) member of the oposite sex
- No slash or lemons
- At least one (1) corny pun must be used
2) Happy Birthday
Write about a canon character's birthday
Rules:
- No lemon, no slash (at a birthday party!)
- Maximum of 115 words, excluding the title and notes. This should be challenging.
3) Lovable
Rules:
- No lemon, no slash
- Romantic characters must be within 15 years of each other
- Kataang, Zutara, and Sokka/Yue may not be used
- No OCs may be used
4) Zuko's New Pet
- Zuko has gotten a pet. The rest is up to you.
