Age: 20. Born 22/12 1986, so I'm a Capricorn.
Hair: Brown. The length? Well, when it's wet, it reaches a bit below my armpits. When it's dry, it goes a few centimeters below my shoulders. It's very, very frizzy.
Height: 170 centimeters ( 5'6" )
Eyes: Blue
Reason behind pen name: Idun was a goddess from the old Norse mythology. She had a tree with magic apples. When the gods and goddesses felt that they were growing old, they went to Idun and got an apple. When they ate the apple, they became young. That's why they never died of age. It was a close call once, though, when Idun was kidnapped by a giant... but that's another story.
Favourite colours: Red, green, brown
Nicknames: Rorran, Riesen, Salonen, Sys, and of course; Idun!
Live: Umeå, Sweden
Religion: Christian (protestant). Although that doesn't stop me from swearing every now and then... (blush)
Favourite music: I like classical, especially Tchaikovsky. Enya, Adiemus, Alanis Morissette, Era and Tori Amos are cool too. And I love The Celtic Circle cd's, not to talk about Kim Jonsson aka Lightningchild! She's one of my friends and she recently released her first cd, Tiny Kinda Scary Music. You can listen to some of her music here.
Hobbies: Reading, theatre (stage acting), fanfiction, hanging out with nice and interesting people.
Homepage(s): Well, the link above goes to my new website, Hiding In Your Coal Cellar. It's still under construction, but feel free to drop by. My blog is called Hiding Underneath Your Desk. I am also a member at Stealthy Stories, a forum for people that write/read TMNT fanfics. Feel free to drop by - there are tons of great writers there (even if I don't count as one of them)! I've also got a deviantART account.
Favourite English words: Freaky, creepy (giving me the) creeps, wicked, whatever, whatsoever. Those words are fun to say and write!
Latest read book: Tunnel Vision by Keith Lowe. A guy named Andy makes a bet that he can ride through the whole of London's subway system in 24 hours. Really funny and contains some interesting thought on life as well!
Latest seen movie: TMNT 4. Awesome, but Mikey and Don didn't get enough screen time.
Latest bought cd: Tiny Kinda Scary Music (Lightningchild) and Il Divo's new one, for my mum's birthday.
E-mail adress: goddessofidun@hotmail.com If you want to contact me, put 'ff. net' or similar as subject, so that I don't delete the mail by mistake. If you have an account on this site, of course you can send a PM instead of a usual e-mail.
What I don't like in a fanfic: Mpreg (especially not that one) and incest. Sure, I admit that there are exceptions, but they are quite few. I can not stand romantical relationships between people with too big differences in age, though. That is just nasty. No exceptions there.
What I absolutely can't do: I cannot write tragedy, angst or similar fanfics. Trust me, I've tried, but it just won't get sad. I suck at dancing, too. My first year in upper secondary school, we had dance on the schedule. I was always two moves behind the others, and it felt quite terrible. One day I had a breakdown and had to leave the lesson. Since our teacher - her name was Robie - was a wonderful person, she allowed me to do research about the History of Dance instead. Robie, if you ever read this, I just want you to know that I love you. Another thing... Oh yes, it's hard for me to admit that I'm wrong. Very hard.
Others: Well, here are a few things about me that didn't fit under any of the previous categories. First I'm epileptic, have been for ten years. Of course, I'm not exactly happy about it, but it could've been worse. At least I'm getting a fat sum of money from the insurance company... Another thing is that I don't blush. It's kinda weird actually, I can feel extremely embarassed and have a strong desire to sink through the ground, but I don't blush. Guess I can count myself lucky. Hm, more... oh yes, I almost never have nightmares. I cannot remember one single time that I've woken up in the middle of the night with my whole body all sweaty... that's another thing I should be quite happy for. I've lived in a small city called Sollefteå for 14 ½ years, before we moved to Umeå. It's strange, it seems like everyone that moves from Sollefteå ends up in Umeå. I am also what we call a 'friend on duty', which means that I on some days sit in a telephone call which people can ring to and tell us about their personal problems.

Girls and guys, I'd like for you to do me, and the Kingdom of Sweden, a favor. You see, they cut down many trees here, and even though they plant new trees, sometimes they attack the, what we call, "gammelskog". That is a kind of forest which has almost never been touched by mankind, and it has to be more than 140 years old. There is a website called "Ett klick för skogen" (A click for the forest) where you can save two square decimetres of forest a day. It's easy, you don't have to understand Swedish (though, if you really want to know what you're "getting yourself into", click on the little British flag. Then the whole site will get translated into English).Go to www.ettklickforskogen.se and click on the green oval with the text "Rädda gammelskog - klicka här". That's all! I'd be forever in your debt if you'd like to visit that website every now and then and "click for the forest". (You can only click once a day, though).
Thank you so much!

Quote of the week (updated every Sunday... unless something comes in between)
Dad: We'll have Mexican food tonight, cause it's Mexico's national holiday!
Me: It is?
Dad: Well, no. Probably not. But it WILL be some day, and we're gonna celebrate!

My baby sister Ylva has gotten an account on this site, her pen name is Red Skippy. If you understand Swedish and like Harry Potter, X-Men Evolution and/or Ninja Turtles, please visit her profile and read her fanfics "Marodörträffen", "Överraskningen" and/or "Donatellos idé". It would mean so much to her.

My stories:
~ How the Movie Mulan was Made A parody of Disney's movie. It's all pointless, really, but still funny. My personal favourite of everything I've written. IT IS FINISHED!
~ Dimension 17 An X-Men Evolution story where Kurt gets trapped in another dimension and some of the other mutants come to his rescue. Kurtty (Kurt/Kitty romance). FINISHED AT LAST!
~ Truth or dare A short Kurtty. FINISHED!
~ The Red Toaster of Doom The result of a fanfic challenge I got from Tina. Harry Potter and his best friends go back in time with a little help from a mysterious toaster, and meet the marauders. It has no meaning whatsoever. FINISHED!
~ Goldilocks and the Three Turtles The six-year-old turtles decide to turn a famous fairy tale into a theatre play which they will show to Master Splinter. But uh-oh... playing theatre proves to be much more complicated than they ever thought... Includes Mikey in a goldilock wig! FINISHED!
~ Dimension Wars Co-written with Empress Caroline of Tamaran. Leo, Donnie, Raph and Mike fall into another dimension (the same one as in Dimension 17 above!) where everything is pretty screwed up. There is a war raging, and terror and fear reign. Before they can go home, they must set things right - once and for all.
~ Donatello and the Swede Syndrome When Mikey tries to help Don repair the television, he gives his brother an electric shock by mistake. This causes Donny to lose his memory. When his family try to help, they discover that he thinks he's Swedish! The plot bunny came to me when I read the story Amnesia by an author called M-T. I can recommend that one. Voted SECOND BEST PARODY in the TMNT FanFiction Competition 2006! Click here to see the awesome award I got!
~ Homo Terrapins Co-written with Mikey's Kunoichi. You can find the fic at her profile. While roaming the sewers, the turtles find a mysterious item, which will change their lives drastically.
~ Getting the License Karai wants to take a driver's license and makes Shredder go with her to teach her how to drive. Citizens of New York, you better stay out of the way! FINISHED!
~ The Subject of Junk Food A Ninja Turtles parody of the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas". My sister Tina wrote it. FINISHED!
~ The Little Turtles' Godforsaken Day in the Park Tina wrote this too. It's a very short Ninja Turtles story where our favourite reptiles, as you can figure out from the title, go to the park and have a good time... or maybe not. This story's NOT meant to be taken seriously. FINISHED!
Please read and review! (very big puppy dog eyes)
