July 7: I'm not dead, I promise! I just wasn't interested in fanfic for a long, long time. (And I've been having computer troubles since May- my laptop of eight years up and died on me, and since then I haven't had a steady internet connection to save my life.) I'm not accepting beta requests at the moment because my plate is just too full, but I'm trying to finish at least the stories that are sitting on my computer staring at me. I know. None of you care. But hey, that's all right.

I am a cynic and naturally mistrustful of all romances; that is why most of the stuff I write is touched with angst (or completely angst) or humorous and sarcastic. Or, you know, just plain angst. I do have a taste for sap (damn boyfriends), but that doesn't show up much. My secret fetish is fight scenes.

I am also a lazyass writer. I will have periods where I am intensely productive, and then there will be stretches when people suspect I am dead because you can watch the tumbleweeds blow by. I am always working on something, but it's either A) going slowly or B) original fiction. Feel free to email me or PM me or whatever. If I don't respond, that's probably because something's going screwy with my computer.

And I love to beta. Every minute spent working on someone else's stuff is time not spent on my own! I currently beta the Nine to Five series by Goldylokz. And occasionally some of Hello-lovely's fiction. Currently, as you may have noticed, I have no plot fics in progress. I find it easier to finish the whole thing ahead of time; this means I don't have to worry about updating schedules, and also, I tend to get really good ideas about halfway through the fic ("Pasts and Futures" is a big one). I have three chapter-to-chapter stories, though. These will be updated whenever I have the inclination, and only "From Under the Cork Tree" has a real stopping point (whenever I run out of tracks on that album).

From Under the Cork Tree (usually abbreviated as FUtCT or FUCT): Unconnected Jonda oneshots twined around Fall Out Boy songs. Not really songfics because the song is tailored to match the fic instead of the other way 'round. Unlike the other two, I am actively focused on finishing this (since I left it hanging for so long when I got into Avatar). Do Us All a Favor: ...And just don't talk. One of my favorite insults now used for one of my favorite fandoms. I've always been a big, big fan of Ron/Hermione, and this is just my excuse to play with that couple and their world. Besides, more often than not, my stories are really angsty; this one tries to be as light as possible (since the only real drawback to these fics- besides not knowing who's speaking- is that it's hard to get across real emotion without some description). Probably updated on weekends.

The Cafe: MWAHAHAH. After much prodding from Goldylokz and absolutely no inspiration for anything else, I started working on it again. Which is, what, only more than a year after I last updated it? I'll try to make it a nice long update for you. I suppose I should tell you what this chapter is about: a lonely college student meets a sweet girl with a secret.

Loneliest Month: Finally back on this. Have no predictions for it, as I lost my outline practically after making it. So I'ma wing it based on what I remember of the plot. Also, look for "Big Boom" to be rewritten soon... it gets referred back to, and really, it's a terrible fic that started off a semi-decent series. I don't want that spot on my record.

Pasts and Futures: Slightly AU fic set after "Tales of Ba Sing Se". Smellerbee and Longshot go looking for information about Jet and instead get a job at the tea shop he disturbed. Zuko goes to apologize to Jin and instead finds himself with a lot of secrets. The gAang goes to find Zuko and instead discover treachery and even more secrets than Zuko. Smellerbee and Zuko-centric. About halfway finished, undergoing a replot involving Zuko's character arc.

Helplessly Hopeful: A minor characters unite fic. Haru rescues Song from bandits on the way to Ba Sing Se, and the two end up traveling together. They end up encountering what seems like the whole world on their journey and find out they have a common enemy in Azula... Underwent a replot. Going to be a lot more fun now. Still barely started.

My Chosen: Davy/Calypso/Jack fic. Threeshot, possibly twoshot depending on the eventual length... this story would chronicle the romance between Davy Jones and Calypso, and then between Jack and Tia Dalma. Rather ambitious, no? Off to a rather tepid start...

Still-untitled-even-though-I'm-halfway-in Beetlejuice/XME crossover: A challenge from my friend Sperrydee (aka Morlock who knows everything) involving Movie!BJ, Rogue, and lots of attempted exorcisms. After the movie ends, BJ finds a new place to haunt: the mansion's library. Chaos ensues. Ninety-percent finished; awaits only my boredom to finish it.
