I LOVE to write, and I usually write while I'm falling asleep at work. Most of my FMA stories were written at work. I don't think my stuff is all that good, but I publish it anyway. Just because I can.I feel that the things I write are very thin feeling and insubstantial. Dialogue seems to be all I'm good at. I have a hard time describing the rooms people are in, or their actions. But I'm really trying. Oh well, I'm still honing my craft. It's also kind of awkward writing smut at work (I feel awkward writing smut, period). So, I'll usually draw out my ideas. I draw a lot. However, I'll update when I update. I work a 40-hour week, and come home exhausted most of the time.
I really don't want to start any new stories until I've worked on the ones I already have started.
Regarding 'Captured,' I have no idea what to do next for it. I'm still taking ideas, though.

Alima's Fanfiction - Updates and General Notes:
June 15, 2008

"Bread and Butter" - Self-imposed Father's day story. I started this a few months back, but then I really started waorking on it recently, challenging myself to get it done by today (06/15/08).

"Random Ficlets" - Deleted story and reposted it. Removed the two 'Mirror' chapters and made them their own story.

"Mirror" - A story about Ed's feeling toward his real father, and Mustang's attempts to take on the fatherly role. Edward come to terms with some of his bottled up emotions, and Mustang is convenient to vent at. Parental!Roy/Ed. Was posted in 'Random Ficlets.' I have the feeling I may continue with this story, so it gets its own spot.

"Fullmetal Haiku" - Added a new chapter, 'Haiku 24.' I try to write 10-15 (sometimes more, sometimes less) before uploading them. I think I may be the only person writing haiku for Fullmetal Alchemist. I mean, I haven't seen any others online anywhere.

"Edward, You're Beautiful" - Implied Roy/Ed (Well, only in Roy's head). Roy's POV. I wrote this as an exercise in description. I liked it so much, I decided to publish it. In order to cope with the growing feelings he has for Edward, Roy sits down with a bottle of rum and a sheet of paper. Before the night is done, he has penned an embarrassing, and nearly poetic, description of the young man for whom he yearns. I want to give special thanks to xfacexthisx (go read her stories here at FFnet! I highly recommend "An Alchemist in Leafin") for looking over this for me and helping me with the errors I made!

"Dearest Alphonse" - On hiatus at the moment. I had a plan for them, but I forgot it.

"It's Not Wrong" - Chapter 7 will be posted as soon as I write it. I now have over fifty pages (approximately 32,000 words...) of this story written already, and I will post the rest of the story even if no one else wants me to. I wanted to share this tale. Not because I'm seeking approval, but simply because I like my story. The rating went up to 'M' in chapter 5, due to descriptions of graphic violence inflicted on minors.

"The 'Top Dog' and The 'Lap Dog'" - Posted Chapter 5 recently. Chapter 6 is currently being written, and I hope to update soon.

I'm 24. I'm female and a yaoi freak. I'm just hentai. Shamefully (shamelessly?) so. I know that some people have a problem with yaoi, so I try to be sure I give ample warning in my summaries. Most of my stories don't have spoilers. I try to not write spoilers, but sometimes it simply cannot be helped. I do try to put any spoiler warnings, or just warnings period, at the beginning of my stories, just in time for people to turn back if they wish. If I miss a spoiler warning, or if you see any spelling or grammatical errors, please don't hesitate to let me know. I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't really like to write animeverse FMA stories because I'm a manga purist. Don't get me wrong, the anime was great, but I believe they should have done the anime side-by-side with the manga. I try my best to not write spoilers, but that's why I usually give a warning of some kind at the beginning of the story. Also, I tend to write slightly AU stories, but they're not as far-fetched as some stories I've read here. Of course, there are some truly excellent AU stories floating around the fandom.

"Bread and Butter" - Has manga spoilers for chapters 15, 16, and 35. Anime spoilers for episode 25.

"Honey and Amber" - Only has manga spoilers, and the manga differs greatly from the anime at that point.

"Random Ficlets" - Has a few anime spoilers.

"Even If This Kills Me" - Manga spoilers for later chapters (Chapters 76-80). Chapter 81 was just published, so my story kind of got broken. Oh well, I still mostly like this story. I am a very twisted person, I think, to have written something so... depraved.

"Fullmetal Haiku" - Maybe the various haiku have spoilers, too. I'm not sure. I’m running out of things related to FMA to write haiku about :sniffle: I think I’m the only one who writes these. At least, here at FFnet. But, I haven’t found any FMA haiku anywhere else online...
