Has anyone noticed lately that the spelling in my reviews has been lacking? Well, forgive me but you guys are writing such great stories that I'm more excited about reading the stories and wanting you to update sooner that when I review my excitement has moved on to your next chapter! So consider my misspelling my overall love for your fic!
New Stories: Expect for something out of the ordinary!
South Park:
Blood Stained Teeth coming soon!
Summary: For Stan Marsh actions speak louder than words and it is in his longing of these desirable actions that infidelity and torture is necessary.
Rated M for Mature: Adult language, adult themes, and violence, blood, pretty much everything that you expect to see in South Park!
Genres: Drama/Angst/Suspense/Romance, the usual genre of my fics.
Couples: If you know me odd pairings are my favorite to write about so, expect it! But, since South Park really doesn't have set couplings, maybe with the exception of Stan/Wendy, it's all fair ground! Hints as to who the pairings are come in as to who the fics revolves mainly around; Stan, Kyle, Bebe and Cartman. All I have to say is that there is a lot of unwanted attraction between these characters so expect lots of conflict and some pairings may even surprise the living crap out of you because of it.
Note: I'm really excited about writing a South Park fic! I love this show more than life itself considering I'm a native of Colorado and some of the jokes in the show just seem to be a little funnier to me.
Some interesting facts about Ecrudgirl:
Really there are none, other than the fact that I go to college and am working my ass off! Trust me my life story will not interest you!
My Thoughts on Reviewing
I believe reviews should be respectable and encouraging. Especially to a new author who is just spreading their wings to this whole fanfiction writing thing. I also despise when people read a fic that they didn't like the genre/couple in the first place and continue to tell how much they hate it. The question is, "Why did you read it?" It seems pretty pointless and stupid to waste your time reading a story you knew you weren't going to like in the first place. Couple bashing is immature and silly. I respect and urge constructive criticism. It isn't a "flame" if someone wants to give you pointers on your story or tell you to brush up on your grammar. It is always nice to hear on what you need to improve on to make you a better writer. Trust me if it weren't for the constructive reviewers I had in the past I wouldn't be anywhere close to the writer as I am now. I know I'm no Nicholas Sparks or Jane Austin so; I encourage you to tell me if my fic is lacking and I need to work on something. I think crude and tasteless reviewers are just asking for attention and have no reason playing around on fanfiction.net. I see a lot of them and I honestly can't fathom why they would call themselves a critic if they never give the author a straight forward answer as to why their fic sucked. Come on; is it that hard to justify your little rant? I deeply and honestly will not tolerate it as one of my reviews. If you have something to say, say it tastefully, maturely, and above all give me a reason as to why you didn't like it! If you don't I'll just tell you right now I won't give a flying rats ass about your little inadequate excuse for a critiqued review and move on with my life. So, just take into consideration what I have to say and really try to be a mature reviewer because it makes it more enjoyable for all of us. (When I review I always follow these 3 guidelines: Be polite, be a constructive critic, and have personality).
I enjoy receiving your feedback as does every writer, so review if possible. I'm not a demanding author (I have been in the past which even I will admit I was an asshole); I don't crave reviews because I (unlike some) actually write for the artistic enjoyment of it. It really annoys me when other authors hold the update for their fan fiction hostage unless they get more reviews. Can we say review whore? Um, you should just be thankful people are reading it in the first place. There are plenty of fics everyday that go unread, so check your hits and counts them as a blessing.
Disclaimer: I do NOT own any of the characters I write about or anything out of the games, shows, mangas, etc that originate from them. Some of the titles of my fics are based off song titles and are not owned by me either; they belong to the original artists who created them. I'm just paying tribute by writing a story that was helped brought to life from listening to those damn songs way too much... from one artist feeding another...enjoy.
