Tenshi- Did you see our new avatar?
Aki- Yes, I like it... but why is it a picture of a tree?
Tenshi- It's a magic tree!
Aki- ...Okay.
Notes on Current Stories:
Death Stood Aside: Harry Potter: Basically this is a bunch of individual chapters chronicling the events of different characters after Deathly Hallows, mostly as they face grief and getting back to there lives after the defeat of Voldie. The ending is insight for this story, I have a few more chapter planned out, I just have to get in the mood to write them.
Unexpected: A YuGiOH humor story in which Ryou is trying to get people to pay attention to him and then eventaully takes over the world. I highly doubt this will ever be completed or even get anymore chapters, sorry to the fans.
Every Other Life: I will finish this story, I promise, even though i have not updated in, what is it, two months now. I am sorry but I am at college and busy and have a life now. Also, I am at a part that is hard to writem because I am reaching the climax and have a big fight sequence, which are the bane of my exsistence. Hopefully I will be ale to crank out a chapter over Thanksgiving break, hopefully.
A Teen Titans fic. This is set about 17 years after the Titans broke up. It does not follow any specific continuity whether the comics or the DCAU (DC animated universe). It does feature 3 children of the Titans, but all the other Titans get pretty significant roles in the story, even Cyborg who takes a while to show up. It focuses a lot on family relations, but it has a big adventure plot, although that plot takes a while to set up.
Literati: recently completely. you can read it all straight through now, a Gilmore Girls story about Jess and Rory.

Tenshi is currently playing the "how many times can I switch my major/transfer schools while still graduating in four years" game. She's going to start her second school and third major (Foreign Languages, with Studio Art: Illustration Track minor) in the spring semester.
Most of the fics on here are by Aki, as you may have noticed. Actually, all of them are, really, with a few humor ones cowritten with me. If I'm feeling particularly energetic I beta Aki's stories (if I like the fandom, lol). Mostly I'm just the person to bounce ideas off of, who occasionally bounces a few ideas back but never actually writes the story, lol.
Also, I use "lol" all the time. It's a wonderful sentence enhancer, lol. See?! I did it again!

Favorite Books: Anything Tolkien, Harry Potter, the Riddle Master Trilogy by Patricia A. McKillip (out of print but totally awesome), all of the books by Susan Dexter (also out of print but awesome), the Young Wizardry series by Diane Duane, Snow-Walker by Catherine Fisher, anything by Gerald Morris, the Farsala Trilogy by Hilari Bell, A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams, The Bridge of San Luis Rey by Thornton Wilder (One of the few classics I actually like; it's a wonderful character study and explores the possibilities of fate and whether or not God means for bad things to happen to people as punishment.), Richard Adams' Watership Down, A Separate Peace by John Knowles (One of the other classics I like. I was not a big fan of it at first, since it was a book I had to read for school. When we discussed it in class, though, I appreciated it more. Especially when I realized that I'm just like the main character, Gene.) I feel like there's more... Hmmm... OH! C. J. Cherryh's Fortress series. The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. See? Why do I even bother going to school?
Favorite Plays: The Tempest and A Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare, course. (The Tempest is LOST, I swear!) Twelfth Night was pretty funny, too... Also, I adore Iago in Othello, evil though he may be. (The character of Ben Linus in Lost is TOTALLY based on him!). Actually pretty much anything by Shakespeare is great... I hate the plot of Romeo and Juliet, though... Seriously, you idiots, you had all that time to just leave! Why go to the trouble of coming up with a whole stupid plan that could go seriously wrong at any number of points...! O_o Anyway... Doctor Faustus by Christopher Marlowe

Dislikes: Loud noises, School, homework, bugs, romance, modern society, tree huggers, cliched stories, female characters, romance, people with no common sense, people who won't SHUT UP.
Other: Christian
I hate romance (in books). It makes me ill. Unless it's Jane Austen. I like old-fashioned romance. Today's romance generally isn't love, it's lust. Which I find tends to distract the main characters from the plot.
I won't read most books with a girl or woman as the or a main character. I can't stand the sickeningly feminist (and cliched) way many female characters are written these days. I'm pretty anti-feminism for a female, to an extent.
I also hate finding Mary Sues in actual published books. Believe me, people, there's more there than there are in fanfiction. It's a plague of red-haired, green-eyed orphans with super-amazing-awesome-magical!powers having our heroes pledge their undying love to their undeserving I-don't-need-character-development-because-I'm-perfect-just-the-way-I-am horrible cliched faces, and being consumed with lust for them on every page and generally completely forgetting about whatever quest or whatever they're supposed to be on. (Yes. I use very long run-on sentences when I'm frustrated.) And worse yet- I actually paid this person to have to read that. Ugh. Come on, authors, you're better than that! Come up with an original, realistic character for once.
I like espionage and conspiracy theories. Just ask Aki, she knows. :giggles to self: Ahh...the hitman... Ask me about my opinions on the impossibility of time travel or about the space-time continuum and I'll bore you for an hour. I like reading nature books and knowing the names of plants and animals, especially birds. I also have an unhealthy obsession with poisonous mushrooms which has successfully frightened me away from ever considering eating mushrooms. Also, I collect unread emails (over 4300!) and odd stories from the police blotter. I love the police blotter. It's endlessly entertaining...

When everything is going wrong
And things are just a little strange
It's been so long now you've forgotten how to smile
And overhead the skies are clear
But it still seems to rain on you
And your only friends all have better things to do
When you're down and lost
And you need a helping hand
When you're down and lost along the way
Just tell yourself
Ah, I'll be okay

About Me: I am I Freshman in college, living about 2 1/2 to 3 hours away from home and in a different stare, PA. I am majoring in Creative Writing, who would have thought...I love college life and I have not even gone to a real party or gotten drunk or anything and it is still amazingly fun. I am eternally fascinated with the wide range of people and personalities I have found of the Creative Writing majors: you have boys and girls, the loud and the quite, the popular and the losers, the weird and the just plain creepers, and the crazy...cuz we are all a bit out there.
Likes: reading, writing, drawing, listening to music, swinging on swingsets, watching an enormous amount of tv...and obviously fanfiction.
I spent several years (since I was fifteen) writing an original novel. It sucks, however, I do have ideas to takes parts and character from it and make it into a different story.
I tend to like canon ships and ships that have no chance of happening.
Fanfiction:
Gilmore Girls (read/write) ships: Literati, Javajunkie, sometimes trory and PDLD
Harry Potter (read/write) ships: First I love the canon ships: Harry/Ginny Hermione/Ron Lily/James Tonks/Lupin, but I also like some noncanon ones Draco/Hermione Draco/Ginny Luna/Dudley (it barely exisists, but it is really cute) and oneside or friendship Lily/Severus. I really love Teddy Lupin and Victiore Weasley as well as Rose Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy.
Boy Meets World (Read/write)- all the canon ships, and not the slash ones, but Shawn is my favorite overall character.
Friends (read/write) Mondler all the way!
Lord of the Rings (read) not too often, and only select authors (like Cassia and Mirrordance) I love the Legolas and Aragorn friendship ones. I have never written anything, because I do not want to even attempt to imitate the greatness (in my opinion) that is The Lord of the Rings.
Teen Titans (read/write) Raven and Beast Boy!! but I also enjoy Star/Robin and Jinx/Kidflash. Jericho is one of my new favorite characters.
Yu-Gi-Oh (Read/write) not so much anymore, and I only write humor ones with Tenshi
Fruits Basket (read/write) Tohru/Kyo, Yuki/Machi, Haru/Rin, and all the other ones they are setting up in the manga, but those are my three favorite. I also enjoy brother fics for Yuki and Ayame, father-son fics for Kazuma and Kyo, and friendship fics between a variety of characters, like Momiji.
Favorite Books: Too many to mention...Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Outsiders, The Shadow Children Series, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Artemis Fowl, Snow-Walker, The Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl, Fruits Basket, A Seperate Peace, The Great Gatsby, Alex Rider Series...
Favorite Televison Shows: Gilmore Girls, Heroes, House, Lost, Monk, Pysch, Teen Titans, Boy Meets World, Project Runway, Law and Order: SUV, The Simpsons, Scrubs, Suite Life of Zach and Cody, Hannah Montana, and some American Idol every now and then...
Favorite Movies: Harry Potter movies, Lord of the Rings, Mulan, Lion King, Armegeddon, Pirates of the Carribean, The Outsiders...
Music: Relient K, Rascal Flatts, McFly, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Avril Lavigne, Celtic Woman, Evenscence, Plus 44, Thousand Foot Crutch, Sountracks of all kinds...

Girls
are like
apples on trees.
The best ones are
at the top of the tree. The
boys dont want to reach
for the good ones because they
are afraid of falling and getting hurt.
Instead, they just get the rotten apples
from the ground that aren't as good,
but easy. So the apples at the top think
something is wrong with them, when in
reality, they're amazing. They just
have to wait for the right boy to
come along, the one who's
brave enough to
climb all
the way
to the top
of the tree.
