"How dare you ask me such a question?" the ghastly monster bellowed from the very depths of his corrupt soul, lurching forward and halting within breathing distance of his lackey's armored face. "It needs no explanation beyond what's already been told, you incompetent buffoon!" The white beast turned swiftly away, floating effortlessly to the other side of the control room, muttering indiscernable obsceneties all the while. He came to a stop, then turned as if afraid to show himself to the guard - slowly, menacingly. "But for you, Tristus, I will repeat my words..."
NOTES:
My first Smash Bros. fanfiction, Recon, is what the title says it is. The reconnaissance is much more for me than it is for Snake. I'm learning about these characters as I write, and in doing so, I am trying my best to develop believable personalities for each individual. No, I'm not trying to destroy what or who they are in their respective games, but I'm studying the vague and building something solid. Believe it or not, I've only played one Metal Gear game and it's Snake Eater, and even then, I only played about 15 minutes worth of it starting from the very beginning. I don't know anything about Solid Snake or his team, but I can assume when he's out on duty he doesn't go around nicely asking questions or taking candy from strangers. Like I said, I'm trying to use Recon as reference for myself. If I fail to portray a character as he or she is meant to be, then I apologize for my ignorance in advance. And if I need help and don't have the game to assist me...

Fist will be my first SSB fanfiction to have a stone solid plot.
A Smashing Celebration will be dedicated to fun little holiday tales (when I actually get around to it e_e).
Sporadic Tales will hopefully be the answer to my incessant writer's block.
