Hullo, I'm Nina. I'm an introverted oddball who likes writing stories, and isn't passionately interested in much else. I'm English, and a fanfiction lover of all sorts, though I especially enjoy well-written angst fanfiction. I also like romance, both slash and the regular variety. I like stories that go out with a bang, ones that explode right at the end, where others would be winding down to the conclusion.

I'm a fan of Studio Ghibli films, my favourite of all time being Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (though I also love Totoro and Kiki...) My other anime favourites include Haibane Renmai, ROD, Paranoia Agent, and a few others. I love the Nausicaa manga, though I usually like more gothic manga, like those by Kaori Yuki.

My favorite books are fantasies. Yes, I'm a fantasy junkie. My bookshelf is packed with books like the Wind on Fire trilogy, Earthsea, Harry Potter, Sabriel and sequals, as well as the Chronicles of Narnia. Recently I've got into the His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman and I've tried a bit of Terry Pratchett, though I have to be in the right mood to read his books. I also like Twilight, though I'm critical of the sequels, which, though they are enjoyable- seem to lack substance. Historical novels can be fun too.

I used to play games a lot when I was younger, but my appreciation for gaming has waned over the years. However, I'm still a huge fan of the Breath of Fire series, and other RPGs like Final Fantasy and fun little games like Katamari are great too. My penname, Nina, is taken from the BoF series.

Tuesday 30th of June- Chapter 19 of APD is up! Finally, we reach the wedding! Only 2 more chapters to go now folks!

Thursday 18th of June- So I finally updated TmHmLm. Time passes so quickly, and by the time I realise I should update, months have passed... not good. I really have to work harder to get this one finished. It's been... three years now. Far too long. Far far too long. I'm still fond of this story, but it's so difficult to write.

Wednesday 12th of May- Oh yes, I forgot to add about my new project; Edward the Sugar Queen. It's about sparkly vampires and a romance between Charlie and Edward. Go read it. I've just stuck the next chapter up now. It's co-written with my younger brother James, who goes by the name of Mini Willy Wonka here. Go check his stories out if you want to please him; though I gotta warn ya, they're even madder than the Sugar Queen.

Monday 20th of April- Chapter 18 of APD is up now. However, I'm not sure whether I like this one too much. It feels a bit too much like filler.

Friday 13th of March- Okay, I'm back! The next chapter of APD is here. :)

Friday 30th of January- Mwahahaha, that's three updates to APD in one week. :D It seems remarkably easy to write at the moment, and the story is a lot of fun to do.

Wednesday 28th of January- Two new updates of APD since I last posted here. I've finally finished the january exams, so I have time to write again, hooray! I have lots of fun fanfiction I need to catch up on and read too. Woo hoo!
