UPDATES:
Yes, the rumours are true. "The Void Of Existence" has finally been updated. I have sent messeges out to everyone I think would care. The next chapter will appear within one or two weeks, however I will only upload it once I have had a number of people comment on it, simply because I want to know that there are people still interested, otherwise I won't rush. But if you are, then review and it'll encourage me to upload faster, knowing that there are people waiting! :D I have also uploaded a new one-shot story, with a slighty Aurikku feel to it. I wrote it within two hours at work, on a very boring day. It's one of my best so far, so please go and read it.
MY LIFE:
My personal life has pretty much taken over everything. I have actually written almost all of the chapters for 'The Void Of Existence' and a few for it's prequel 'The Void Of Substance', which hasn't been uploaded yet. I'm starting my Foundation Course in Art this September, and will be doing that for a year, and then next September 2009 I will be going to University to study Interior Design or something similar. I've now been with my partner for seven and a half months and we've been through various stages of our relationship rather quickly. From moving in, to moving out, to breaking up, to making up, to arguing, to bliss and then to a sudden balance. I think the time of turmoil is over, but we both knew it would never be easy at first because we were both very broken and emotional hurt people. I just think I needed to change as a person, to love and respect myself more than I did, to have a hope of being able to love and respect someone else too. It's true that men are more insecure than women, and that relationships are hard. If you're not in a relationship yet, or you don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend, then cherish the time you have and spend time to think what you want to change about yourself, to be happier. Remember, you will never be able to care for another person, when you can't take care of yourself.
WORK:
I have a job at the moment, but it's slowly thinning on the ground. I knew from the start that it wouldn't last too long, because I tend to be 'too' efficient when it comes to work! It sounds a bit pompous, but it's true. It doesn't take me long to complete something, and then I end up with nothing to do for ages! It's lots of fun though, even if it is just office work.
WRITING AND ART:
I am going to be uploading some various one-shots soon, once I can be bothered to write them. Also I will be updating my fictionpress account too. I only have a shitty story I started on there, but i've complete re-hauled everything and am going to be uploading my original stories and poems onto that account. I will put a link up here once I have done so. Also, there is a link below that takes you to my DeviantArt account, and I will be uploading loads of my new artwork there very soon. So it looks like I am on a roll!

THE VOID PART 3: The Void Of Existence

It has been almost ten weeks since the events of the Hive, and things have taken a turn for the worst. Umbrella has opened the gates to hell in an attempt to further their research. But the infection escapes. There are reports of deaths in the Arklay Hills, and the S.T.A.R.S Bravo and Alpha teams are sent to the Spencer Mansion to find out what has happened. But the horror has already spread, and now all hell has broken loose. Upon escaping the mansion, Jill Valentine looses contact with Chris, Barry and the others, and returns to the City to find it in chaos. She now has only one objective left - Escape from Raccoon City alive and with as many survivors as possible.
Jill makes a break for it and joins forces with Police Officer - Peyton Wells, and Raccoon 7 News Reporter - Terri Morales. But as Umbrella fails to keep the infection to a minimum, it becomes the optimum scenario for testing. So enters the release of Project: Alice and Project: Nemesis. Both of which are not to be taken lightly, both deadly and mutated by the T-Virus, with a special bond that neither knows. The Problem?
Can Alice escape from the city, find the daughter of a scientist and save the lives of old and new friends?

THE VOID PART 1: The Void Of Reminiscence

Summary : Based on the movie that was adapted from the game.
Unknown to the citizens of Raccoon City, there is an underground research facility named 'The Hive' that exists beneath the cities streets and buildings. The Hive is owned and operated by the Multi-National Conglomerate - Umbrella Corporation, and used for major medical, genetic and viral research and experimentation. This thus results in the creation and discovery of a new weapon, a new virus, named the T-Virus.
But after an incident occurs, and the T-Virus manages to escape into the air conditioning, all horror is let loose. The Main Super Computer, named The Red Queen, which controls, operates and guards the Hive, turns homocidal and kills off each and everyone of the workers. Why did she do this? Was it a malfuction? A Hacker? Or something more deadly? The Umbrella Corporation seeks the answers to this disaster. So they send in a team of highly trained Covert Operatives. Upon entering The Hive, via the entrance in the Spencer Mansion, the team obtain a woman named Alice, and a man named Spence, who have both lost their memories thanks to the Red Queen. Along with a third man named Matt, who claims to be a cop. Taking on board these three, the team enters The Hive in the hopes of finding out what went on down there and to disable The Red Queen without her getting them first.
But is that all they have to worry about?

Summary : A one-shot. Set during the time that the party spent in Rin's Travel Agency, in the Thunder Plains. Rikku lays in bed, hiding from the storm outside, hiding from the real world, trying to make sense of all the pain and hurt inside herself. A butterfly can change within a day, but a person cannot. Life is all about change, and it even happens when you don't want it to. People cocoon themselves in their own thoughts to hide from the harsh reality of the world around them, putting on fake masks of personalities that they wish they were. And in some part of the past, Rikku has lost herself, becoming one of those people. Forever needing to act happy, but never trully feeling it.

Summary : Set during Final Fantasy X-2 through Rikku's perspective. The whole story is an Aurikku fic and has flash backs, strange experiences and a few scenes that aren't in the game. This was my original major fic but I have hit a brick wall and have become slightly less inspired to carry it on, although in the future i will come back and finish it off, i promise. Lots of Rikku x Auron content so you are welcome to have a look and review, just don't expect new chapters any time soon.

THE VOID PART 2: The Void Of Substance

Summary: It's been about two weeks since The Hive. But thanks to Umbrella, Raccoon City remains oblivious to the events that occurred right beneath their feet. Oblivious to the death, pain and horror that happened. But over the few weeks that followed, reports of people going missing, and bodies being found in the Arklay Mountains, just outside Raccoon City, began to increase. The reports show that the victims were apparantly eaten. And all the evidence points to the large Spencer Estate, the huge gardens and the mansion, which is placed within the forest of Arklay Hills. The S.T.A.R.S teams (Two groups of highly trained people, all chosen spesifically for their talents) are briefed on the events and sent in to investigate.
S.T.A.R.S Bravo Team is the first. However, there's a problem, and they loose contact with Base. They seemed to have just...disappeared. So, in an effort to find out what happened, to investigate the murders and disappearances, and to enter the Spencer Mansion - S.T.A.R.S Alpha Team are sent in to investigate (Their leader, Albert Wesker. The highly talented, Jill Valentine. Headstrong, confidant and equally talented, Chris Redfield. New recruit, Joseph Frost. Hard boiled family man, Barry Burton. Their pilot, and self proclaimed chicken-heart, Brad Vickars. And the sharp-tongued medic, Leanne 'Lea' West)
Yet, something doesn't seem quite right. Why hadn't Bravo contacted yet? What had happened? Was it just a malfunction, a problem with equipment? Or was it something more sinister? And why did Spencer Mansion seem so scary?
But what made things worse, was that there had been one report. Saying that Umbrella had entered the Mansion a few weeks ago, when all this was starting. Jill and the rest of the Alpha Team had no idea of the horror they were about to get tangled in.

THE VOID PART 4: The Void Of Penence

Summary: Time has past. So much time. It seems for ever since Raccoon City was destroyed. It seems as though nothing has really happened. The group escaped, Alice was saved, but in the mean time, something was lost. Something within each of them was lost amongst the chaos. Hope, Love, Confidence, Determination ... no one can remember the last time they felt trully happy. Everyday passes, with the same whir of darkness. Trying to keep Angie happy, even though she's clever enough to know that no one else is. Trying to formulate plans, to create points of action, and to decide their next step. Fighting Umbrella is definitely not easy. Having to hide in a forgotten farm, within the middle of a forest, over grown and secluded. Constantly having to look over their shoulders, stealing money, credit cards, bank details. Buying weapons, computer software, equipment and food. When will he chaos and pain end, and the normalicy of life begin. Alice spends most days alone, in the cold, silent. She can't think of anything else but...Matt. They took him away from her. They hurt him. They hurt her friends...all she wants is her revenge. She can feel herself slowly loosing contact with the real world, slowly loosing her mind. The others worried, conspired, talked, tried hard to work, to keep the group together, to push each other along. But Alice could see, without having to look closely, that the group was falling apart. Rain's constant mood swings, snapping at the smallest thing. J.D, who seemed to have lost his humour. Jill, who wasn't so driven or sure of herself any more. Terri, who was oblivious to most things. Nicholai, who never spoke. Carlos, who could never formulate a plan. L.J, who was beginning to get irritating. Kaplan, whose dark eyes showed nothing but worry and pain. And Ria, who had begun to act distant and as though other things were on her mind. Alice couldn't take it for much longer. She had her friends...but she didn't feel as though she had anything to live for, anymore.
But when Alice suddenly feels something, a stab of darkness in her mind, along with the revelation of documents that they steal. Could Matt still be alive? ... But most importantly. Was there a traitor within their group? Or worse yet ... were there two?
