I'm a Theatre and Performance student from the UK and have been a huge fan of the musical Cats since I was 13. I go by the name Amanika (or Ama for short) here in the Cats fandom. I have four fics posted here, most of which were written and posted several years ago. I don't pretend to be a great writer, I wrote most my fics for personal pleasure and my own wish to explore the Cats characters. I doubt you'll be seeing any more fics from me in the future, I'm still an active member of the Cats fan community, but my interests where writing is concerned, these days, focuses more around forum-based role playing. A busy university life leaves me little time to write fanfic, I have plenty of scraps lying around, but nothing that really makes up a fully formed story. I won't say never, because there's always a chance inspiration might pounce on me again, but I'm unlikely to uploading any new fics in the near furture. My old ones are still here for anyone who wishes to read them however, and reviews and concrit still very much appreciated. :D

NOTE: I always proof-read and spell check my fics before posting, (and also now have lovely peoples to beta for me) but occasionally things will slip through so please ignore and/or bear with any odd small mistakes or typos, I like concrit but not nitpicking if I've mistyped maybe one or two words. - Thanks.

MY FICS:

Tugger's Tale - Up in it's one-chapter entirity, I've had this one here for years and years. It's my own interpretation of why Grizabella left the Jellicles and also why Tugger is always the heartbreaker and never settles down. Seen through Munkustrap's eyes, this was my first ever fic.

Flame of The Mystery Cat - Posted in it's entirity. Big thanks to everyone who gave me reviews and encouraged me to post the rest. It's about Macavity and Bombalurina in their early lives and was inspired by a picture of them by a Cats fan artist which made me wonder if there was more to their past then I first imagined. Again I wrote this story quite a number of years ago now.

A Flame From The Past - Now up in it's entirity. Bomba walks back into Macca's life and we discover more about his past, plus some intersting stuff about Macavity and Alonzo. Again, written when I was a good bit younger.

A Soul Divided - My most recent fic, an experiment to see what happens when you split two particular characters apart, permernantly. All fourteen chapters are now posted and concrit and reviews are much apreciated.

Other Potential Projects - None at present, of late I've preferred to focus my creative energies on role-playing instead.

If you're into role playing, my own RP, Practical Cats is always looking for new writiers and players, it's based around the cast and crew of a fictional production of Cats and what they get up to offstage.
