Let's see. I'm about 16, a new author, and needs all the help I can get. I used to write fanfictions, and when the old hard drive actually MELTED (virus went for my hardwiring. I was new to computers, and didn't understand what was going on. It somehow fooled my port into thinking there was no fan, and that it had to redirect more power to the harddrive. The results were a sticky goo that used to be most of my stories.)
Well, I've changed a lot since I've first joined fanfiction.net, and this is the first time I've updated my profile since. If you look above, you'll see my OLD profile. Or at least the stuff that really mattered. I am now about 17, and have been around the block here for some time. I'm no longer a 'new' author, and anyone who wishes to dispute my progress may look at my old work. Trust me, I've progressed.
Little about my computer has changed. I recently caught a virus a few months ago and almost lost all my data, despite having a very secure set of virus detection equipment. I did manage to save the documents and settings, however, which also explains my lack of updates for about three months while I was reorganizing everything onto the new drive and sorting everything out.
I've recently mellowed out a lot, though. Partly this is because I've gotten to go to a better high school, where writers and intellectuals on the whole aren't despised, since it's a Charter school.
I write a bit of original fiction now, but only a few are posted online. Here's some stuff I like:

It's been another year that fast? Damn I am getting old. 18. Wow, never thought I'd make it. Uh, not much has changed. Oh wait, it has. I no longer go to high school (awesome! College, here I come!) I now have a mac, since I'm tired of mechanical failures. The last straw on the old one was a power supply issue or somesuch. OSX rocks. I've gotten better at writing, and I think it shows. Look at my Maximum Ride fanfiction. I started it on the old computer, way over a year ago. As you read on, the story gets better. Then again, I'm probably rewriting it soon.
