I have one character, designed from the depths of my imagination. She may or may not be released to the public. It all depends on if she's been tweaked enough to deem her worthy of the Yugioh fandom. So far, I have this:

Name: Sydney

Age: 17

Appearance/Nationality:Fair complexion, green eyes, freckles and long, auburn hair. She's slightly curvy and has a small crescent scar under her left eye from an accident during childhood. She has no Japanese blood in her, leaving her a little ostracized.

Short Bio: After their parents' messy divorce, Sydney and her little sister, Sarah, moved from America to Domino, Japan with their father when the company he worked for transferred him. It was the summer break between the first and second term. Sydney and Sarah would join the Domino students at the beginning of the Seond Term in September; Sydney would be in her third (and final) year; Sarah her second, after passing the entrance exams. Sydney is usually found in quiet, calm places like the park or the pier. She has a bit of a quirky personality. She loves to laugh and meet new people. She has a bit of a hot temper when provoked and has little patience for children.

Storyline: The storyline begins slightly before the Doma arc. Sydney and Sarah have just transferred to Domino. Having nothing in particular to do- since they won't be joining the students of Domino High until next term- they take the liberty of walking around town, eventually finding themselves at Domino Museum where they meet Yuugi and friends. A few weeks later Sarah is challenged to a duel. The mysterious duelist (later revealed as Alister) plays the Seal of Orichalcos and in turn Sarah loses the duel and her soul. When Yuugi finds out Sarah's soul has been taken (after his duel with Gurimo) he vows to help Sydney save her sister. Canon starts.

Additional Info: She has very little dueling experience (Think, Anzu's experience). Her sister, however, has about as much experience as Rex or Weevil. She does not have an ancient past, she has no Millennium Item, and she never learned how to ride a bike. :P (And that is the only bit of personal experience I threw in there. :P) She is also very talented at sketching and writing. I don't know...I wanted her to be good at something without butchering the canon character's talents.

- New story, Entity, up. Actually I'm on its second chapter, but you get the point. :D I'm working on chapter three right now. Updated profile, adding my little note of engagement. My fiance wanted his little spot to shine.

- Happy Halloween everyone! Well, after visiting Arani92's profile I have joined NaNoWriMo.com and will be a part of the 2008 writing contest. It's really cool, and like Arani92, I encourage all of you to join. It's all about quantity instead of quality- and the goal is to reach 50,000 words archived by the end of next month. The contest officially starts November 1st and ends November 30, I believe. The object of the contest is to simply let your mind soar through your imagination and just write whatever comes to mind (while still trying to make a novel out of your jumbled mess- and it will be a mess, trust me). Luckily, for those of you who like to nit-pick every detail and make your stories near perfect. You have the entire month of December to tweak, edit, or even totally rewrite your story. Another cool perk is you can create a book cover to upload. So, with all this being said, I won't be around much for the duration of November. I'll try my best to update when I can, but I think this contest will be a good way to strengthen my writing skills.
