Update: New story up and now too sleepy to update profile to include info on it. It wasn't planned and basically wrote itself, so it is not even mentioned in the future project part waaaay down below. Will most likely come back next weekend and see about cleaning up this mess of a profile I have.

(sigh) To help clear up any confusion in regards to my stories for those of you who do not wish to read from the beginning may find it a little difficult to keep up due to me taking time between posts I decided to use my bio page as a means to outline my stories and give some possible hints on what may come up.

I will warn you, some authors may keep to a strict outline that their story has to follow but I’m not like that. I do start out with a general outline and storyline idea but I allow my stories to evolve (sometimes to a point where the original idea gets tossed.) This is the one reason for the long breaks between chapters, the idea that I had planned for a certain chapter or series of chapters gets changed for whatever reason and I take time to make sure that the new idea doesn’t mess everything up.

Going to explain each story in the order that they started:

Mortal Kombat: Conquest

Reason:

Never did like the ending of the TV series and figured that if the Elder Gods wasn’t going to do anything about it I was. Also, had a hard time finding a fanfiction based off of this show that I could really get into. Oh there were a few great one-shots (Water by dragon and The Long Walk Home by dragonhavn for examples) but no real ‘2nd seasons’ as I’ve seen for other shows. So out of frustration made my own. This was my first ever fanfiction.

Idea:

Everything was lost. Kahn had won, the chosen dead and Earth’s sworn protector a powerless prisoner. However this was not suppose to happen at least according to history as we know it. This is where a certain mysterious time traveler shows up to play advisor and savior for out beloved thundergod. By sending Rayden back where he made his mistake, the downfall of Earthrealm didn’t happen. So time continued as it should have, and with time there were some changes new allies, new enemies and a few who were both.

Basic Story:

Rayden is allowed to ‘re-write’ history with the help of the mysterious white haired woman (Lady Tomorrow). Althea first meets Rayden while she is a student of Kung Lao and we find out little bit about her history including the mutual dislike between her and Kuravan, her grandfather and a god of Calorna. Among his followers, Kuravan considers Lilith (a winged Vampire) his most loyal and valuable in spite of her limitations of not being able to be out in the daylight. We also meet Quan Chi’s new follower, Lupena, who is more than what she seems. Drevane of the Red Dragon shows up and we see what the spirits of the two traitor Dragons are capable. Arianna and Ragen were created by Quan Chi from the anger and guilt of Althea and Rayden. Rayden’s and Althea’s growing attachment and soul-bond to each others causes some dissention among the Elder Gods since she is a godslayer and we find out that the Elder God of Time, Kronos, is Kuravan’s father and thus Althea’s Great-Grandfather.

Shao Kahn—Emperor of Outworld
Shang Tsung—Dark Sorcerer. Born on Earth but served Shao Kahn for centuries but fell out of favor. Now hides on Earth trying to avoid Kahn’s wraith.
Vorpax—Queen of an all female race who is at war with Outworld presently keeping Shang Tsung in the hopes of acquiring ‘children’ with the ability of sorcery from him.
Kuravan—Sometimes spelled Zuravan (still attempting to make corrections). A dark god from Calorna and Althea’s grandfather. Let’s just say they don’t get along.
Lillith—A wing Vampire female. Kuravan’s most loyal servant.
Quan Chi—Sorcerer/Alchemist from the Neatherrealm.
Jola—Leader of the Black Dragon Clan and holder of the Black Dragon medallion. Later becomes a servant of Quan Chi’s.
Drevan—Leader of the Red Dragon Clan and holder of the Red Dragon medallion. Jola seriously hates this guy.
Black Dragon of Shadows—the spirit of a black dragon imprisoned within the Black Dragon medallion.
Red Dragon of Flame—the spirit of a red dragon imprisoned within the Red Dragon medallion.
Arianna—Althea’s evil twin. Created by Quan Chi’s sorcery.
Ragen—Rayden’s evil twin also created by Quan Chi’s sorcery, but unstable due to some timely interference. (Yes, he pre-dates the ‘Dark’ Raiden in the game series.)
Scorpion—Assassin for hire trying to create his own clan.
Painal—new leader of the reptile race.
Mysterious Voice—Doesn’t really make an appearance but is Shinnok.

Siro—Former bodyguard and one of Kung Lao’s closest friends.
Kung Lao—Champion of Mortal Kombat
Taja—Former thief and one of Kung Lao’s closest friends. Siro’s love interest.
Althea—Battlemage from another realm who becomes Kung Lao’s newest student. Has the ability to make gods mortal and thus killable. Sometimes called ‘Godslayer.’ Rayden’s love interest. (What can I say, he likes to live dangerously.)
Freyon—Althea’s former familiar who was granted godhood status on her homerealm of Calorna. He does not have a human like appearance and basically looks like a white liger. (lion/tiger crossbreed and extremely large)
Vatas—God of Wind and Sworn Protector of Calorna. Althea’s ‘great-uncle’ and former mentor.
Fujin—God of Wind and Rayden’s younger brother.
Kronos—Elder God of Time. Althea’s great-grandfather and favors her.

‘Lady Tomorrow’—Mysterious white haired woman with control over time itself. At first she seems to be an ally but it later shows she had helped the bad guys as well as the good. Her only goal is to make sure that certain events either take place or never happen.
Lupena—Quan Chi’s newest servant but only serves him to protect/help her people.
Sub-Zero—Former Lin Kuei hunting down the killer of his family, Scorpion.
Elder God of Light—Later named Aether.

Mortal Kombat: Mythos of Rayden

Reason:

MK: Conquest was growing beyond all expectations and the story starting to get a little complicated and a sequel was jumping around in the back of my mind. With the history I kept thinking up and hinting at in the MK: Conquest story and wanted to use in the yet unnamed sequel I felt warranted a story all its own. Thus Mythos was born.

Idea:

Just where did Rayden come from? How did he become the Sworn Protector of Earthrealm? The story of Rayden from childhood, through war and his eventual rise to Sworn Protector.

Basic Story:

Raijin (Later known as Rayden) is the son of Shinnok, Elder God of Shadows, and Benten-San, a goddess of luck, who are ‘divorced’ at the start of the story. Benten-San is remarried to the then Elder God of Air, Enlil, and eventually has a son named Fujin. When Shinnok betrays the Elder Gods, Rayden and Fujin fight against him in defense of Earthrealm. At that time there were Dragons created by the Elder Gods to also fight in this war. Two, the Red Dragon of Flame and the Black Dragon of Shadows, were on Earth, both betrayed the Elder Gods and ended up serving Shinnok. Later we find out that Shinnok had another son, Shao Kahn, whose mother was a she-demon of the Neatherrealm.

Shinnok—Elder God of Shadows.
Red Dragon of Flame—One of the original seven great Dragons created by the Elder Gods to counter Shinnok’s demon hordes that carried immortal killing weapons. Betrayed the council. Killed Enlil, Elder God of Air and Bentan-San, goddess of luck, before being stopped.
Black Dragon of Shadows—Another of the original seven great Dragons. Also, betrayed the council. Served as Shinnok’s steed in the final battle.
Shao Kahn—Son of Shinnok and a demoness. Self-proclaimed Emperor of Outworld and Rayden’s half-brother.

Benten-san--Goddess of Luck. Shinnok's ex-wife.

Mortal Kombat: Echoes of the Past

Reason:

Sequel to Mortal Kombat: Conquest and wanted to bring the idea into the late 20th or early 21th century.

Idea:

The modern Mortal Kombat Champion is following his ancestor’s steps and creating a new school of martial arts, this time just outside of Los Angeles, CA with the help of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade. But enemies from the past, both recent and ancient, causes problems that may put an end to not only the school but all that we know.

Basic Story (So Far):

Johnny, Liu, and Sonya are in the process of creating a new school in L.A. with the advice of Rayden and the ‘help’ of Sub-Zero, Jax and others. Scorpion is for some reason, watching over Sub-Zero instead of hunting him down. Althea returns with the help of Fujin and the Elder God of Time. Shinnok takes over Outworld and attempts another attack on the Elder Gods. Arianna is revived and along side Lilith served Kuravan who has also recruited Kabal to be his guide on Earthrealm. Scorpion has found an ally in the demon huntress called Ashra. Sub-Zero has just gotten a new student whether he wanted to or not and a strange dragon medallion of his own with some strange side effects. Still in progress so this section will most likely change.

Update: 06/13/08--This story is now officially on hold. My muse has finally returned but demanded to work on the Transformer's story or would leave me again. This one I will start back up. There is no way I'm leaving a story I worked on for so long unfinished.

Raydiva's Outakes

Reason:

Writer's block, pure and simple.

Idea:

Basically just wanting to have a good laugh making fun of my own stories and comics (yes I have a what is call a sprite komic called "How to be a Thunder God" created under the name of LadyRaiden). Doing this in the hopes of getting rid of some writer's block. May or may not be updated.

Basic Story:

The 'director and producer' of Mortal Kombat: Mythos of Rayden, Mortal Kombat: Conquest (the fanfiction) and Mortal Kombat: Echoes of the Past was in the process of getting rid of some old scenes that were removed from these stories when Rayden's nephew, Kidd Thunder, shows up and...borrows them for his and his sister's, Lil' Lighting, viewing pleasure. Let's just say there are more than a few scenes which Rayden doesn't want anyone to see. So now Raydiva and Rayden are trying to find the wayward godlings to get those damn tapes back. So far only got through Mythos and some Conquest.

Note:

Not sure if I should remove this one, since it is basically bloopers, which is not allowed, but there is a story along with the bloopers. Guess I'll leave it there until it's gets deleted or someone complains about it. Not even sure if this one will ever get updated again.

Transformers: Flight of the Stormlark

Reason:

I love Transformers G1, but there was one thing I never did like about it was the lack of female characters. I remember waiting for another Nightbird episode hoping that she would awaken and attempt to get her revenge. Sadly that never happened. After reading a few other fanfics around this particular character (Nightbird: The Aftermath by Raksha being the best by far) and now a few fanfictions under my belt I figure I would try my hand on one of my own.

Idea:

What if Nightbird was not alone? She was called a prototype by Dr. Fujiama in the show does that mean there were plans for more advanced human made robots? Do we really think that humans would sit ideally buy and allow an alien war be fought on our planet without doing something about it? Thus, Project: Elements was born. A group of robots created with one goal in mind, get rid of the alien machines both Decepticon and Autobots.

Basic Story (So Far):

There are humans that are tired of the alien war taking place on Earth. The only solution was to fight these invaders and interlopers at their own game. A group of robots were to be created, by a group of independent companies, to fight off the Decepticons and ‘encourage’ the Autobots to return to their homeworld. However, the plans changed when the prototype given the name Nightbird was stolen and reprogrammed by the same creatures she was suppose to fight against. This put her ‘sister’ unit in danger of never being completed. The most completed one was named Stormlark and only lacked an AI to become fully functional. Mysteriously, she awakened fully functional during a Deception raid and has shown sign of sentience. Also in progress, so this info will change. Presently on hold, gonna concentrate on MK: Echoes of the Past. Once that is done, this will be next to be completed. (Unless my muse decides otherwise and insists on writing a chapter or two for this one. Hey, it happened before.)

Mortal Kombat: Alternate Universe (working title)

Reason:

What can I say...I love the story ideas I get from Mortal Kombat and the Mortal Kombat: Conquest tv series. Basically this is another possible '2nd season' but a more darker one. There is no 'Lady Tomorrow' to tip the scales.

Ideas:

It's been over 500 years since Earthrealm was merged into Outworld after the death of Kung Lao and defeat of Rayden. It's been almost 150 years since the Dragon King Onaga, retook Outworld and destroyed the council of Elder Gods. Since then he has been rebuilding the realms into his chosen image. It's been almost 10 years since a strange white haired woman became one of Onaga's generals by killing her predessor in his mockery of Mortal Kombat. A few months ago, she aquired the lands that Kahn claimed as his own after his failed attempt to defeat her. In these lands was included the Kobalt mines in which a forgotten prisoner was found just a few days ago. This prisoner was discovered to be possibly the last of a previously thought extinct species...a god.

Many of the classic MK characters will be here but different (ie Kano is a good guy). There will be fewer 'humans' and more of the non-human characters (Sheeva plays an almost key role). There is no Earthrealm, Edenia, etc but only one realm broken up into 'regions' each being controlled by a general with absolute control over his/her region answering only to the Dragon King.

Godslayer (working title)

Reason:

Been kicking around this story literally for years and have actually used some of it as Althea's (MK:Conquest/Echoes of the Past) history. Will be purely (hopefully) original story so will most likely not be posting it here but on fanfiction's sister site fictionpress.com. (Note: No one can borrow this one. I've been working on this one off and on for years. Actually had the damn thing almost done but then lost all my writing in a move.)

Idea:

A insane god stirs from his enforced slumber. His children start to roam the lands. A danger so great that the Ancients (I know sounds like the Elder Gods, but I actually wrote almost half a book before Mortal Kombat even came out. Like I said been working on this story on/off for years. Sadly what was written was lost due to a move.) have granted a 'gift' that mean the destruction of all gods if fallen into the wrong hands. A godslayer has been born.

Gargoyles: Cursed (A crossover...sorta)

Reason:

Gargoyles was most likely my favorite cartoon from the nineties. I still have the lines from the Mirror Image episode memorized and often write them down when deadly bored at work and my muse refuses to let me write something for my stories. An idea has been bouncing around since the number of fanfics have been slowing down a little for this show and new stories far and few between.

Idea:

A curse has been placed on Elisa Maza, a certain off duty riot cop witnesses what happened to the detective. He calls on an ally to see if she can remove this curse and stop the one who cast it: a familiar white haired magic user, with unique boyfriend. (grin)

"Another one of Oberon's childern..."sighed Goliath.

A single eyebrow rose with humor as Rayden answered, "Actually no, although he might be a distant cousin but I doubt it."
