I'm a big fan of anime and I love to read. English was always my best subject in school, and I thought "Why not?" So I am trying my hand at writing and am having a blast doing so. I love getting reviews!

I am tossing around a possible plot right now. I came to the realization that with the four shards that Kagome had in the second story, and the four they retrieved in the third story...well eight shards is just too tempting for certain villians to leave alone - in my opinion anyway.

BIO: I have just returned to Northern California after living for 7 years in the San Bernadino Mountains in the south(just beautiful, I will miss it)and I come from a large family. I became an adult many years ago (let's just say I'm mature, despite my behaviour, and leave it at that...LoL!) I am not blonde like some people, who have never met me, like to think :P I have the best friend in the whole world and I pity anyone who has never had one. I much prefer the train for long trips than a bus, and a car is better than either of those because you can stop and take side trips anytime you want.

I have spent many years reading sci-fi/fantasy stories and my favorites are:
The Valdemar series and The Serrated Edge series by Mercedes Lackey (really anything that Ms. Lackey can put into print)
The Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffery (any and all of them)
The Shannara Series by Terry Brooks
The Dragonlance Chronicles by Weis & Hickman
The Alanna Series by Tamora Pierce
The Xanth Series by Piers Anthony (I really should catch up and read the ones I missed)
The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien (read back in high school)
The Belgariad & the Mallorean series by David Eddings
All of the Black Stallion & Island Stallion books by Walter Farley (a must for horse lovers)

I have also read thousands of romance novels (not kidding about the number) but only because there were not enough of the above to keep me satisfied or occupied. Not a day went by that I didn't have a book in my hands (I'm a voracious reader.)

I am now heartily sick of them. I'm not even tempted to pick one up. Luckily, I have found a place that has plenty to read. --happy sigh--

I can definitely say that life almost never ends up the way you picture it, despite all the planning you may do. But not all the surprises are bad. Sometimes that's just the way it has to be and you have to deal with it.
