Author has written 6 stories for Pirates of the Caribbean, Tamora Pierce, and Harry Potter. I thought it was about time to get a new profile, so viola!
Dear Readers:
Hey guys. I know its been a while since I've really updated, it feels like it's been months since I wrote something I could post here. I'm really sorry, but I'm a freshman in highschool, and reality (dreadful thing that it is) has taken the front burner to my writing. However, I'm working rather hard to catch up on things. It'll be summer soon, so I'll have a lot more time to work on things. I'm seriously considering taking down both the Apprentice and The Lady and the Thief- not for long, mind you, but so I can revise and make them better. I've seriously expanded my writing skills and gotten much, much better since I first wrote the Apprentice.
I'm working my poor fat tush off to get ready for exams, get my Science grade out of the mud, and get a written project in for my Honors English class,(Actually, it was due Monday (5/16) but I haven't really gotten started on it.), and writing Welcome to Paradise. Also, I've got a major idea for another story soon: a third generation Harry Potter fic, starring Lily and Sirius Potter, Dorian and Joan Weasley, Aidan Malfoy, Jacques Zabini, Jamie Black and last-but-not-least Selene Lovegood. It's going to be really big, and seperated into three stories until I figure out which one I like the most (I'll have your help with that, I'll post all three, then cast a vote to which one you like better). One idea is based soley on the third generation, their own timeline, but I'm thinking either a time travel fic into Harry's time or Marauder Era.
Plus, a little shameless advertising: My best friend Thousand Faces and I wrote a fic, (More of a crossover from doom), where it's one of the biggest bit of crossover madness and two mad fangirl writers you will ever read. But it happens to be quite good, if I do say so myself. It's over at Thousand Faces' account, under name When All Goes To Hell. Its a crossover from mainly Angel, but includes Buffy, Harry Potter (Really, we stole the twins), CSI (Stole Greg too, made him the twin's younger brother), Refrences to Hellsing (die hard fans may balk at fangirlishness), and we 'borrowed' a good bit of our friends, too.
If you have read WAGTH, and like how TF's and mine minds work, we are currently starting up another IM story. CSI this time. Once again, we created our own characters and stuck them in there where we toy with the minds of the hotties (Quite literally in TF's case...but you have to find that out). Also, when it comes to WAGTH, and the new CSI story we're working on- It's a fangirl's fanfic. It's wild and totally out of the norm and yes we do get the guys, Morgan and Gwen snag Angel and Spike, respectively. In the new one, yes we will fall in love and all that good Mary Sueish behavior. The thing is, while our plot is decidedly MSish (actually in All goes to Hell, we didn't actually have one until the twenteth page or something close to that) our characters, while having Mary Sueish traits, are far from it. Yes, they're beautiful and get the guy and one has a tragic past, but they have personalities. They have flaws. Morgan is a royal bitch queen in the morning if she doesn't have coffee. Gwen is tempermental and slightly unstable. They aren't in the least perfect.
Right. Also, recently I have become I rather mad popslasher. (Popslasher: one who slashes (makes a gay pairing) of various pop artists). I'm in love with NSYNC. JC/Justin, Chris/Lance. Whooeee. Hey, don't blame me, blame Skoosiepants (go read her stories. Right. Now.) for getting me hooked.
Hum...I guess that's pretty much it for now. Oh, by the by, In my newer stories/updates, there will be an appearance of a Macaw parrot: Mack. This is in honor of a parrot my great-grandparents kept, who my Grandma told me stories about, who was a total and complete riot. Unfortunately, he died in the early sixties, when my dad was about five years old, so obviously I never met him. Examples of his brilliance, you ask? chuckles Ok.
My Great-Uncle Paul used to work on cars in the back yard, and Mack used to love messing with him. He'd make the sound of the telephone ringing, then mimic his wife's voice and call into the backyard: "Paul! Telephone!". My Uncle would hurry up to the house...to find Mack innocently perched somewhere, and the phone silent. He'd do this three or four times, so when the phone actually rang and my Aunt called, "Paul! Telephone!" He didn't believe her, which led to rows over the whole thing.
Mack used to sit in a big tree by the road and when girls would walk by, he'd whistle at them. When my grandparents used to have company over, they'd put Mack in the basement...who would then proceed to sing at the top of his lungs. The guests would always look at them funny and ask if someone was in the basement. Mack used to cause all sorts of unholy choas: snipping buttons off shirts, pants, ruining shoelaces, breaking through cages, chasing my grandmother around the house when she was little, taunt cats, sing, recite Lucy episodes, talk to himself, bug the neighbors, strike fear into the hearts of little ones...I would have loved him. So, I added him into my stories.
Last but not least in my new little info bio, I'm creating a new fanfiction livejournal. I have to get it set up, but when I do, I'll let you know. I'll update drabbles, ideas, thoughts, ideas and brainstorming for chapters, and you guys can through around some of your ideas and comments for me to listen to.
Cheers!
