Use of languages one doesn't master, in the hopes that no one will notice (sorry pals, but I do notice, and let me tell you it makes you look really uneducated; also, I'm waging an ethical war on Google Translator);
Plagiarism;
Graphic and/or non-cannon and/or omnipresent shonen/shoujo ai;
Unnecessary cussing and vulgarity (i.o.w., that do not contribute to character development);
Harlequin endings (Puh-lease. I like happy endings, but that's just too much).
Stuff that will never happen in my fanfiction:
All of the above listed;
Non-cannon character pregnancy follow-up: fpreg and mpreg alike (I'd like to meet the person who thought of mpreg in the first place, because... I mean... how...??);
A sequel to an existing story of mine;
Graphic depiction of adult material (lemon, rape, torture, etc.) without sufficient and serious warning.
Stuff that might --possibly, hypothetically, and in likely probability-- happen in my fanfiction:

Discontinued Stories
I know some of you wonder why I stopped writing or removed some of my stories. Here's an explanation.

A series of oneshots centering around Heero and Relena. I'm just not into GW as much as I used to be, and frankly, plenty of those shots make me wince at the awfulness. I'm leaving it up because it seems well-liked (not that I understand why).
About my writing
This will have sort of a rant feel, but I'd just like to mention a couple of things that people often bring up regarding my spelling and whatnot. First off, I'd like to mention that English is not my first language. French is. Aside from the fact that I actually think I master English pretty well (and I don't think I'm bragging), it is true some notes about my spelling must be made.
Most of the comments I receive are from Americans, and the reason for this is perfectly normal. For those who are unfamiliar with the difference between Canadian and American English--there is one--let's just mention that some words are spelled differently. I.e. Favorite (U.S.) vs. Favourite (Can.) and Honor (U.S.) vs. Honour (Can.), Reveled (U.S.) vs. Revelled (Can.). I can't think of more, but there are others, plenty of others.
I could choose to turn to American spelling, but I find that I'm more familiar with the Canadian spelling. I don't know if these differences are effective in England, but I've heard they resembled the Canadian spelling. Also, Australians have confirmed that they spell similarly to Canadians.
On a final note, this does not excuse other mistakes I may make. I usually notice them all upon re-reading myself but sometimes I can make small errors that can annoy you. If this happens, say so. However, on some occasions, my spelling is accurate, even if your own writing programs say it isn't, simply because I'm writing according to the Canadian dictionary. In these instances, I will tell you so in a private mail, in order to justify my choice of words.
Thank you for notifying me of any other typos however.
Additional note
When I say it's a oneshot, I really do mean "IT'S A ONESHOT". I will not make sequels to oneshots; they are completed stories. If I chose to make a story into a oneshot, it's probably because I did not have any further inspiration and because I don't intend to write more for it. I'm sorry if you wanted more, but as far as I'm concerned, trying to please everyone by making a oneshot into a multi-chaptered story doesn't work out well at all for me. Just see Nighttime Activities.
A story isn't born with a full-fledged text already attached to it. It takes time and it's a labour of love. Ideas don't grow on trees. I can't just lay a story egg and wait for it to hatch: I involve myself into the story fully and write every single word of it, often taking extra time to do research and revisions.
So please stop asking for sequels or for oneshots to be turned into multi-chaptered stories. It's not going to happen. If I had any more ideas for that setting, it'd already be written. If it's not there, then it won't come anytime soon.
If, on the other hand, you have an idea and you wish to use one of my oneshots to extend them into multi-chaptered stories, you're welcome to mail me and we'll talk about it. I'm open to the idea. I just don't have the inspiration to write them myself. I'd still gladly provide additional information to help you out.
Just don't ask me to write sequels. It's a real incentive not to.
