Hello. I know I haven't updated my bio since... 2004? I guess you want to know something about me, then. So... me.
Name: Vidya
Age: 14, as of 4 February '05.
Nationality: Indian, and proud of it!
Favourite Color: Black, and fresh green.
Favourite Food:Well, it's an Indian dish called dosa. Nice, delicious, paper-thin pancakes. I could talk about them for hours. But more widely known, pizza!
Favourite Pairings: Lily/James, Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione (it'll happen, bet you anything), Bill/Tonks, Draco/Pansy.
Least Favourite Pairings: Lotsa them, most especially slash. It just can't happen in the HP world, people! And Ron/Luna, Harry/Hermione (yuck!), Albus/Minerva, Snape/Minerva, Snape/anybody, Draco/Ginny (Romeo and Juliet?Rubbish!), Lily/anybody other than James, and most of all, Sirius/Remus.Horrible idea, that. Nota bene: I am not against homosexuality.
Favourite Quote: Actually, I have lots of favourite quotes. But my most favourite one, as of now, is-"If you live to be a hundred years old, then I want to be a hundred minus one day, so that I never have to live without you." --Winnie the Pooh
And- "Technologically, man is a giant, morally, a pygmy." --Unknown
Interests: Reading, music, writing, music, writing, music, philosophical arguments, music, English, music, throwball, and finally, music.
My Fics:
Memories: My first ever fanfiction. I love it the most. It's basically Remus' reaction to Sirius' death, set just after the battle in the Department of Mysteries. People, please review it!
Musings: This story took me too long, considering that it is rather short. But reviewers have told me that it packs a good bit of emotion for such a small thing. It's about Harry's reaction to Sirius' death, set during the same time as Memories. You could call it a companion piece, but neither has any connection with the other.
Melancholy Strain: Ah. My first J/L fic. And last too, I reckon. I finished this story within three hours. I started this as a one-shot, and as of now it is still a one-shot, but more than one person has told me it feels like "to be continued". Frankly, I don't know how to continue it. If anyone is willing to collaborate on this, please email me. But as to the fic, James goes for a walk in the Hogwarts grounds, and comes upon Lily singing in a valley. Based upon Wordsworth's "Solitary Reaper". Please Read and Review!
As of now, all my stories have been one-shots. It seems I am not gifted with the art of writing chaptered stories -sob-. Anyway, that's my bio! Now read my fics and make my day with a review! Please?
