After several years I am finally getting around to updating this profile. I have now graduated from university, with a degree in Politics. I still live in northern England - just as I have all my life - and now work for a government department. My aim in life, as it has always been, is to write an original novel or play but I think for now I'm just going to play around with fanfiction for a bit as practice for when I make a start on the real thing.
I have got tons of ideas floating around in my head from lots of different books and films. My most recent obsession is Wicked. I saw it in London a few months ago and though it was amazing. My lastest project is a series of stories about Elphaba and Fiyero.
My major project is my Lord of the Rings story 'A Love So Deep' but it has been beset by many problems which is why I haven't updated since 2004. I lost my way a bit and found the story was getting quite confused so I went back and rewrote some chapters and made a few changes to some of the characters. I then had quite a lot of the story written when my laptop died taking my synopsis, character histories, rewritten and new chapters with it. I've been finding it really hard going trying to rewrite it all so I have taken a break and am going to concentrate on Wicked for a while. I do plan on going back and finishing it but I think the earlier chapters are in for a major rewrite before anything new gets posted. The story will remain the same but I think a lot of the details need changing in order to make it more coherent. Hopefully everyone who wrote such great reviews will continue to be patient for a little while longer. I promise you will be rewarded.
