I'm your standard anime otaku fangirl, only I'm nice and calm since I've gotten all my shots. No rabies here, though I do occasionally enthuse a little much.

Current game addictions: Twilight Princess. There's a crossover with Okami that keeps trying to break through, but so far it just keeps hitting rock.

Um...I'm a fan of folk music, rhymed poetry, fantasy and science fiction (Harry Dresden, whee!), Avatar, and have written fanfiction for several years now. I also have a few novel-length stories that are original, but those won't be posted anywhere until they've gotten the overhauling of their lives.

And yes, I babble. You will learn this.

Heads up for 11/09: Despite what it looks like, I am still writing. Sadly, I fear that the final arc to my Season Tales is going to be left unfinished as I have lost the drive for the fandom. What is really annoying is that I have parts for a story after that, which may now never see the light of day. —sighs-- Oh, well. Tales of Fa'Diel is still moving forward, at least, and I've finally gotten into the final chapters. Yes, the end of the Jumi arc is upon us, which means that there are only two or three chapters left after I finish Fluorite. Can you believe the fic is almost three years old?

Halloween was fun, as I got to go and shoot zombie targets with my dad when my original plans for a beach night fell through. I have learned that apparently my aura of technological-jinxing may extend to complicated pieces of modern machinery on All Hallows--at least when it's close to a full moon. In other words, my gun jammed. A lot. So I borrowed my dad's and filled the waiting zombie horde and a few balloon ghosts with .22s.

Edit 11/18: We discovered a couple of days ago that the reason my semi-auto kept jamming was because, somehow and gods don't ask me how, a bullet managed to get jammed behind the firing pin. Dad found it when he took the gun apart, and you have never seen such a dented little critter as that poor abused round. I count myself lucky that it didn't just explode inside the gun and give me a powder-burn.

Mom was thrilled by the sheer number of pint-sized monsters that came to our front door begging for us to fuel their sugar rush, which I have to admit was a pretty good turnout, especially after living for a number of years in an area of suburbia with a low child ratio.
