Hello!

My name is Jill, I'm 21 and I live in Northern Ireland. I'm currently studying for a master's in Physics but I've started writing again to save me from the boredom of Fourier Transforms and Maxwell's Equations!

I am a huge Harry Potter fan and write and read Harry Potter fanfiction exclusively. Crazy Harry Potter fan related things I have done include: Travelling to London to see Equus

Buying Chris Rankin in a charity auction and going to lunch with him

Decorating my hall and living room in a Forbidden Forest / Great Hall style

But my crazy-fan-moment I am most proud of -

Where were you at the exact moment that Deathly Hallows was released? I was at platform nine and three quarters in Kings Cross. My friend and I were the only ones there as well because WHSmith had the rights to it and they chose us as their poster girls for the launch. It was a very moving moment.

I have two fanfictions on the site at the moment and the ideas for a third.

The first one is a Lily/James story that I started when I was 16 (Ah! feels old) and so the start of it is a bit iffy but it picks up around the middle. It's still not finished (so close, I'm so close!), the problem being that I like to write completely in canon and as new books have been released it become slightly out of sync, not by much, but it still annoys me. I may take the time to go back and correct it some day but I'm not promising anything, as that has frequently led me into trouble on this site.

The second one is mainly a Harry/Ginny story but tells what I imagine happens between the end of DH and the epilogue. It should be good, I'm really enjoying writing it and it has less of a 16-year-old-fan-girl feel about it. Lol. It's also in canon and is linked to my first fanfiction but it's really not necessary to read either to understand the other if you know what I mean?

The third one? Well let's just say it should complete the trilogy but I really should finish the first two before I start thinking about it too much. Don't you think?

Finally I would just like to say that it is my dream to become a writer and I write fanfiction to get some practice in between lectures (Again I'm a physics student - I don't know why, ok?), so constructive reviews are very, very much appreciated.
