Author has written 15 stories for ER, and X-Files.
"Don't waste yourself in rejection, nor bark against the bad, but chant the beauty of the good." (Ralph Waldo Emerson)

Claire: "Do you ever just think: 'I'm fooling everybody?'
Claire: "I feel like I've been asleep my whole life."

Things to know about me: I am a huge Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman fan and I have a thing with quotes. But I only reproduce ones that make me feel (usually because I identify deeply with them).

Firstly, if you read my fic, there is something you absolutely MUST KNOW. I may be a lit. major, but I absolutely REFUSE to proofread my work, mainly because I can't stand to read my own stuff, especially right after I write it. I've alway been that way be it stories or academic papers I'm writing... and chances are, I'll always be that way. So if there are errors or typos, that's why. Plus, I usually write between the hours of 1 and 6 am. : ) After all, "Perfectionism is the voice of the oppressor.” (Anne Lamott)

"Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. You wait and watch and work: you don't give up.”- Anne Lamott

"The blessing and the curse of life is that most of us do not get to be what we wanted to be as a child." (I wanted to be a singer, an actress and a writer... we'll see...)

My name's Natalie, I'm 21 years old, and I attend an accredited four year university in California, my native state. I'm double majoring English Literature and Religious Studies with a minor in Women's Studies.

I have to believe that my heart and soul are deeply poetic. I am trying to believe that there is no past and there is not necessarily a future (individually speaking)--I am trying to believe in my ability to live my life for today.

Natalie
β€œTo be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” (Emerson)

(Calculated Artificiality comes from the movie "Playing By Heart." Watch it. It's amazing with a cast of verifiable acting all stars.)
