Here, I will be judging three games every week, so that you know not to spend your hard earned money on a game that would better be used as a frisbee. By the way, in no way am I taking the ratings from some magazine or a tv show that judges games. This is my own personal view on things, so if a game I judge to be good turns out not to be your type of game, then blame me. Nobody else.

In My Humble Opinion...

Gungrave Overdose - Playstation 2
A very cool game with a cool storyline. You are Grave, aka Brandon Heat, an undead gunman from hell. Now, though this may already sound like many other games out there on the market, it is far better. Using your twin handguns and the coffin strapped to your back, you have to run around trying to stop the spreading of a drug called Seed. The fun part? Anything that gets in your way is completely annihilated by your blazing weapons, or the giant cannon stashed inside your coffin. Has a good difficulty to it, even on Easy, it is a game that hardcore shoot 'em up fans would love. There are three playable characters, each character having their own strengths and weaknesses, making the game more interesting. Good visual graphics for an anime based game, and plenty of secrets to unlock, which includes a peak at the anime if you haven't seen it already. Final judgement? A very good game, although some of the camera angles need working on.

Pokemon: Gale of Darkness - GameCube
I have been a long time fan of the Pokemon series. So, when I saw a 3D version of the game, I thought it would be awesome. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with most of the game. A lot about the game is good, such as the whole rescue the pokemon from the badguys scenario. But a lot about the game was bad in my opinion as well. For example, the lack of wild pokemon spots around the world. There are a total of three if I am correct. The rest of your pokemon are found by capturing them from the evil team Cipher, which isn't totally a bad thing. But it means that you do not get to choose to find them. You have to wait until they show up in the storyline. Another bad thing is the lack of evolving items. If used too early, there is no way to go back and get another. So you could miss out on your chance to evolve a good pokemon that you might find. Some of the enemies are very irritating, such as the giant afro guy, who keep coming back with the same pokemon, just different levels, making them very predictable. Now, for a few good things about the game. The new 3D effect is cool. And as mentioned above, capturing an enemies pokemon to bring them over to your side is just awesome. The bad guys, Team Cipher, finally have a background story, which is very nice considering the rest of the teams were just there to annoy you, no explanation why. Overall, the game is a good game. But some parts really drag it down. I recommend it to pokemon fans just to try a new feel for pokemon.

Jade Empire - X Box
You are a student of a great martial artist known as Master Li in the small village of Two Rivers. But when your village is attacked and your master kidnapped, you must set out to find the one responsible for the brutal attack. Along the way you meet many different people with different personalities, many warriors who fight to become stronger, and see many beautiful landscapes. This game is by far one of the best I have ever played. You run around as one of six premade characters, doing good or evil as you make your way to find the notorious Lotus Assassins. The voice acting is incredible, with hundreds of different voice actors throughout the game. Each and every character has a voice to match their personality. Also there are tons of wonderful cutscenes with breathtaking scenery and incredible fighting scenes. Throughout the game you learn many different forms of martial arts, including magic and weapon styles, allowing you to choose a fighting style that matches your tastes. mIn the game there are countless sidequests, allowing you to explore the land even more without having to advance in the story. My judgment? I would recommend this game to anyone. It is an exellent game with beautiful graphics, unforgettable characters, and a story worthy of an Ancient Chinese game.

Current Stories:

Mystical Ninja - The New Threat...COMPLETE!!
Goemon and the group have destoryed Dancin' and Kitty Lily's Stage plan and are now on the run from the fangirls who want revenge for the demise of their favorite stars. The group meet up with a stranger in Oedo, and find out that Dancin' and Kitty Lily weren't the only ones with their eyes on Japan. Now, after a long battle, they have to fight again to save the country that doesn't exactly love them anymore.

A Fan Fiction with all the original characters in it, plus some new ones. In addition, some of the characters you met in the past will have a good part in helping as well. Not very many reviews, but I hope they keep coming.

Legend vs. Legend - Crossovers
Here, its a deathmatch between everybody's favorite "Gunmen in Red". Trigun's Vash the Stampede vs. Final Fantasy 7's Vincent Valentine vs. Alucard from Hellsing vs. Devil May Cry's Dante. Who will win amongst the legends shown? Only the showdown will tell, so read and enjoy the chaos.

Albion's Hero - Fable
Lyle was just a regular troublemaker in the peaceful town of Oakvale. But his entire life changes when his village is torn to pieces by a bandit raid. Brought to the Phoenix Guild by the mysterious Maze, he must train day and night to exact his revenge on those who ruined his life and slaughtered his family.

Wandering Warriors - Redwall
The story of a ferret and a fox travelling the lands of Mossflower looking for the murderer of their families and village. They team up with an odd array of characters to track down the killer and bring him to justice. But, with such a small army, their odds don't look good against the brutal adversary. They will have to gain help elsewhere and gather a large enough force to take down the dark army, while at the same time getting the beasts of Redwall to trust them.

Favorite Authors:

Peter J. Marcroft - A very talented writer who created an insanely awesome Final Fantasy 7 fic. "Curse of Memory" is a novelization of Final Fantasy 7 and has to be the best story I have ever read on this site. Highly recommended by me to anybody who likes a good action novel.

EvanescentShadow - An exellent romance writer. Has several very good Harvest Moon fics and is currently in the process of a sequal to "Whispers in the Moonlight". Very nice person at that, so go check out her stories!

Red Sonic - Wrote one of my personal favorite Harvest Moon fics. Is an obvious HM fan, and likes Sonic the Hedgehog, who is a personal hero of myself. Though I may be more of a Knuckles fan, this artist definately deserves a round of applause for his "Valentine Conspiracy" fic.

Mr. Clark - The writer of the Halo fic "The End of a War". This story takes place immediately after Halo 2, with Arbiter's final battle against Tartarus. This writer captivates Halo like no other and is an exellent author to everybodies favorite 'kill all aliens' game. If you liked the Halo novels, then you will love his story.

Arxane - An exellent writer who has captured The Ocarina of Time into writing. Good with words in his story "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time", he writes an amazing novelization of the game we all know and love. Has all the perks of the game, but an interesting new twist to the story. But I won't ruin it for you, read it for yourself!

Cooper Russell - Never have I seen Fable captured in such exellent writing. Written on a different path from the Fable storyline, it has exellent characters, amazing bad guys, and a really big creature that everybody loves! Read this story if you are tired of reading novelizations of Fable's main character...like my own...

These are all great writers who deserve a reward for all their hard work on stories that blow the mind. Unfortunately, all I can do to reward them is to tell others what great stories they have in high hopes that they will read it themselves. Here's hoping that one day, I will become half the author they are.
