Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter, and Twilight.

ME: The first thing I should mention is that I take a long time to update. I apologize for this but there isn't a whole lot I can do about it. And do remember I am writing two stories at the same time, so I am actually updating twice as frequently as it appears to anyone reading just one of my stories. Granted, this past year was a low point because I had a ridiculous year with a lot of crap going on, at school and otherwise. BUT that year is over now, so hopefully I'll become at least a little bit better. Hopefully. :) However, if you can handle that, people seem to really like my stories so check them out.

And since I don't believe in giving out personal information online and don't have any snappy way to sum myself up, that shall be all.

Well, I guess I might as well mention I'm of the X-chromosomed variety.

BETA SEARCH: I'm in the market for a beta. Preferably someone who's read both Harry Potter and Twilight (but I'll consider someone who hasn't if I really like them, but I'd really prefer to work with one person instead of two). You would be editing for grammar and flow/story development. I am very comfortable with grammar and pretty much have it down, so that would mostly just be for typos. The focus would be the latter category. It has been a long time since I had anyone else's opinion guiding what I write. And I'm going to put an age limit of 16 or older. Any nominations/volunteers? (please only volunteer if you think you have something legitimate to add to my writing process). It would be a pretty laid back editing job considering the infrequency of my updates.

I feel the need to clarify my usage of the word "legitimate" and why I said that. Here is the long explanation I gave to one questioning reviewer: As for the whole "legitimate" thing...that may have been unnecessary and sorry if it was confusing. I should probably explain but first I really really hope this doesn't come off sounding arrogant. It's just that all through high school I found myself being endlessly frustrated by the peer editing comments I got from my fellow classmates. Many of my papers were returned with a few typos corrected and a comment at the bottom saying "This is really great and I don't think you need to change anything." Which is not very helpful in improving my essays. Especially since my teachers rarely agreed. I know that I am a good writer but the editing process is not about fishing for compliments, it is about getting better and no one is above that least of all myself. But I imagine people probably wouldn't volunteer if that was all they had to contribute.

Fun stats:

Total words archived : 90,983 words.

1) MISCONCEPTIONS:

Miscellaneous

--I started this story, I dunno, two years or three years ago. Over that period of time my writing has matured, you might want to keep that in mind if you're not totally in love with the first few chapters, because I'm not either (but then again I'm overly critical of myself)

Status:

I just checkout out my stats and this story has over 10,000 hits! That's kind of exciting. But I kind of only got 2 reviews last chapter which was really sad. So go give Misconceptions some loving. And I've almost got Ch 15 for Being Sane in Insane Places done and then you fellows are due for an update.

2) BEING SANE IN INSANE PLACES:

I'm afraid I've been abducted by the Twilight/New Moon books and have created a new story under that category. If you haven't read these books, you might want to read them first...but honestly, my story takes place before they begin and is based on a few basic facts from the books. It won't ruin the books for you, though there might be one or two things you might be confused about for my story... but really they are amazing, so you should really read them anyways. And to those of you reading Misconceptions, I promise this does not mean I will abandon it.

Status:

CHAPTER 15 NOW POSTED!! It is TEN pages long including the A/N, just the chapter text is over EIGHT. It is officially the longest chapter yet of this story coming out a word count of a whopping 5,333. The next longest chapter is 3,960!

Miscellaneous
Also, just for the record, this story will continue past Alice's transformation (in case anyone thought it was going to be only about the asylum)...I won't say how long past in case I change my mind.
