Updates-

9-19-08 Worked camp this summer, they did Alice in Wonderland. Discovered that I do like some kids. Doing Aladdin at school. According to director, I'm going to be Jasmine. And the choreographer. Which, you know, is fun. And scary. But hey, it's part of my senior project, so, yeah. Shiny.

3-23-08 Also going to see Phantom in NYC, FRONT ROW SEATS. And Chicago, here, (lastrowseats) with the DC. Thoroughly Modern Millie has randomly become a serious possibility for next year, but who knows? They've lied to me before. Happy Easter to all.

2-07-08 My Christmas present was a trip to New York for my birthday in April to see Legally Blonde, Little Mermaid, and another show I haven't chosen yet. Posted another fic a few days ago which is... well, it's downright unpopular, actually. And we're almost definitely doing Aladdin next year and I'm almost definitely Jasmine. So, good and bad news all around. C'est la vie. Love to everyone and a late happy new year. Only one more until graduation!

11-11-07 Doing Annie is so great. My best friends are playing Hannigan and Annie, so improvisations are many. Our chorus for NYC and I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here is HORRIBLE, so the entire chorus has been cut, meaning that I basically get two solos with vague input from Annie and Warbucks occasionally. Oh, and I'm doing the bend and snap to Warbucks. Fully. It'll be pretty great. And as of right now, my favorite shows stand as this: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Mary Poppins, Legally Blonde, Les Miserables Revival.

9-03-07 New York is AMAZING, I love it there so much! My new second favorite show is Mary Poppins. So these are my top three: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Mary Poppins, Les Miserables Revival. Our 'director' is insane and we're doing Annie, Jr. at school. The casting folk are vaguely sane and cast me as Grace, which I really wanted. Her part is cut down so tiny, however, that I don't like it so much. She doesn't even fall in love with Warbucks at the end! AND THAT'S HER WHOLE CHARACTER! I don't know what to do with her if she's not in love with him, so I think I'll improv that in. Improv is awesome.

6-10-07 So I did get Enchantress (yay, me!) and a large solo role in the first number which causes me to move faster than the speed of light to get dressed for! Yay! And I'm salt in the Be Our Guest sequence. For Seussical, however, I am a Who. Therefore, I am in the opening and Here On Who and the bows. Which sucks. Although I am auditioning for the dancing role of a fish in the It's Possible sequence. Ah, well. And my school is now considering one of my new favorite musicals for the fall musical - Into The Woods! I love it and I am definitely auditioning for the Baker's Wife. Being the only soprano, however, those casting want me to be Little Red, Cinderella, Rapunzel, and the Witch as well as the Baker's Wife. They're still considering the three-act Cinderella and the high harmony necessity Seussical, so I hope I can use my (sadly) superior musical theatre experience to sway the popular opinion. Our director and drama teacher's musical theatre experience is high school dance team, so... We're not quite sure why she's director and drama teacher. She likes me, though, so I can convince her of what's good and what isn't. Since I was so right last year and it was a fiasco, they should value my opinion more. I know I sound concieted, but if you knew these people, you would agree.

4-8-07 Wow. Again. It's been a while. Erm, happy Easter, people! Going to The City again this summer. We're going to see Mary Poppins (my current musical obsession), A Chorus Line (which I adore), RENT (not too happy about that. It was a fad, it's gotten on my nerves in the past year or so), and Les Miserables (which I've loved since childhood). I'm in Beauty and the Beast at a local theatre until late June, just before we go to The City. We're just in auditions now, but I'm hoping for the Enchantress. We've got some very talented young ladies, so I don't think I have a chance for much else, but the director is very impressed with my dancing skills. And impressing this lady is... well, impressive. My friends tell me I have a good chance at Belle, but I tend to try to not get my hopes up... or anywhere else, for that matter. I'm also going to be in Seussical this summer. I am kind of dreading it, but since I'm the eldest girl there, and it's my last year before they kick me out, I'm assured a role. It'll be a change from the just dancing roles I've been in with this group before. There are some seriously talented people there who want to be surgeons and stuff, so I'm angry that these excellent people won't grace the stages of New York. Anyhoodle. We're doing Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella next year at school, and since I'm the oldest girl in the club and the president, I'll probably be Cinderella. Also, I'm the only one with an actual "Broadway" voice, as opposed to a "pop" voice, so that puts me at a higher chance of being the main character. Must dash, Beauty and the Beast auditions continue! Toodles!

12-10-06 Wow, I haven't gotten on ficcy net since June. Sooo. Went to NY, my two new favorite shows are Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Tarzan. I'm also on a Disney kick this week/month since I'm going to Disney in January. Our high school drama club did ..censored adjective.. High School Musical. In case you didn't know, HSM is the one musical that I truly loathe with a firey burning passion. I'm president of our drama club and I wanted to be backstage manager, if that gives you a hint. I was Mrs. Darbus, who I only like because the woman in the movie played Cassie in A Chorus Line, so that was the basis of the character for me. It sucked, but we made like 6,000 or 7,000 dollars on it. So next year we may do something decent. Or we might do Aladdin, Jr. like we did at drama camp two years ago. I hate my school.

5-5-06 Wow. I posted a one-shot. I started it in first block today and finished it at about 8:45 tonight and posted it at 9:50. Useless stats, if you wanted to know. I must have been crazy, posting something... Writing this before anyone's reviewed it, by the way. It's 9:54.

4-11-06(hyperventilates) I'm going to New York in July and I have front row center tickets to Lestat and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels! I'm also going to see Wicked again (yes!) and Tarzan (I'm sure it'll be awesome!) I also just finished my school musical which was a collection of different Broadway songs! I played Nessa in Dancing Through life and was the soloist in Fame and the leading player in Magic to Do.
