Stories I wrote:
Stories I won't take down but wish no one would read because I am desperately ashamed of them:
Broken Walls: my first ever fic. Please forgive me for it, it is a complete Mary Sue fic and I cringe when I look at it. It's only still up because I don't believe in taking fics down because there is always SOMEONE who likes it and will be sad if it vanishes.
Stay For Love: Almost the same as above. It's sappy and cheesy and ew. Almost the only thing I can say for it was it was the first time I wrote for Destiny (Kim in the story), my alter ego. She was still in progress at the time (hense the name difference). She has since evolved and is just about ready for her own series to take off. (See: History of Heroes)
The Healer and the Walker: For those people who DO read this (and I have no idea why) you will be happy to know that it has not been abandoned. As soon as I stop procrastinating and finish tackling my other projects, namely Who's Nightmare and Protege, this will be completely reworked, reposted, and finished.
My current projects:
Who's Nightmare: A nightmare on Elmstreet fanfic my friend requested I write. Freddy pulls me and my friend into his nightmare, but finds out to his displeasure that he can't hurt us because we aren't afraid of him. Now he can't get rid of us! So who's nightmare is this supposed to be again? This is my longest story to date. I also haven't updated in almost a year... My reviewers hate me. Anyway, I will get seriously cracking at this story again really soon I promise. It is close to wrapping up anyway. I like this story because writing it spanned several years and when I reread it I can see how my writing has developed. I also like watching the story develop from aimless rambling to something vaguely resembling a plot. Heh heh, this fic exists because me and my friend Angie are nuts.
For those who want to see Raziel's picture because the link won't show in my story. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/12257654/ http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/13279879/a littleChristmaspic http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/13902940/for those who loved the pink dress scene in chapter 8 (snicker)
Protege: A GetBackers fanfic. It's about an original character who runs into Mugenjou during the time when Gingi was still the Thunder Emperor. The idea for this fic spawned from two things; 1) Emishi is my favorite character and it annoys me that there isn't more fanfiction about him, and 2) I had started playing and become obsessed with Soul Calibur 2 at the time. I know number two hasn't manifested yet, but it will soon. I have completely overhauled the original outline. I'm going to rework the first two chapters (after finding a way to transfer them off my old zip drive since neither my new computer or my laptop have one) and begin working on it again soon. I'm actually really looking forward to it, I'd been having fun with this story.
My soon-to-be-projects:
History of Heroes: A Sonic the Hedgehog saga that takes place in both Sega and Archie comic universes and focusses mainly around my alter-ego, Destiny Dark. I started it a few years ago but didn't like how it was turning out. I have since completely rewritten the outline for it and once I finish at least one of my Current Projects this is next on the agenda. Destiny is not so patiently waiting for her story to be told.
Onshots that speak for themselves:
Two Seconds Too Late and Beautiful Scars: both are Death Gate Cycle stories. I have two more sitting on the editing board (where they have been for the past two years.) Hopefully I'll get around to them soon.
Quotes I Like:
"It is a very rare thing that a person is taken for what he truly is."
-Schmendrick the Magichan, The Last Unicorn
"No cat out of it's first fur was ever decieved by appearences, unlike human beings, who seem to enjoy it."
- the Cat, The Last Unicorn
"Everybody loves a hero. People line up for them, cheer them, scream their names. And years later, they'll tell how they stood out in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse of the one who taught them how to hold on a second longer. I believe that there's a hero in all of us, that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the thing that we want the most. Even our dreams."
- Aunt Meg, Spiderman 2
"Listen! Don't listen to me, listen!"
-the Butterfly, The Last Unicorn
"Nobility is not a birthrite. It is defined by one's actions."
-Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves
For the good of all men, and the love of one woman, he fought to uphold justice by breaking the law.
-tagline, Prince of Thieves
"A wise man once said, 'There are no perfect men in this world. Only perfect intentions."
-Azeem, Prince of Thieves
"Courage is not the absense of fear, but merely the realization that there is something more important than fear. The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all."
-Mia's dad, The Princess Diaries (my yearbook quote, in case anyone is interested.)
"It can't rain all the time."
-Eric Draven, The Crow
"If the people we love are stolen from us, the way to have them live on is to never stop loving them. Buildings burn. People die. But real love lives forever."
-Sarah The Crow
"Police! Don't move! I said, "Don't move!"
" I though the police always said, "Freeze!"
" Well, I am the police, and I say, "Don't move!" Snow White. You move, you're dead."
" And I say, "I'm dead," and I move."
Eric Draven and Albrecht, The Crow
"Destiny, meet world. World, meet Destiny."
- Taz 'Rat' Finch, The Core
"All the people that were working here are dead."
"Well, that isn't stopping them from walking around."
-Rain and Spence, Resident Evil
"My name is Alice and I remember everything."
-Alice, RE2
"People are always asking me how is it that firefighters run into a burning building when everyone else is running out. Courage is the answer." -Chief Mike Kennedy, Ladder 49
'It is amazing what two people love chooses to unite. It follows no rules.'
-Beatrice, The Village
"Tell me how he died."
"I will tell you how he lived."
-Emperor Meiji and Algren, The Last Samurai
"You want me to kill Jappos, I'll kill Jappos."
"I'm not asking you to kill anybody."
"You want me to kill THE ENEMIES of Jappos, I'll kill THE ENEMIES of Jappos... Rebs, or Sioux, or Cheyenne... For 500 bucks a month I'll kill whoever you want. But keep one thing in mind: I'd happily kill you for free."
Algren and Bagley, The Last Samurai
"Throw down your books! You have nothing to lose but your grades!" -Tuesdays with Morrie
