UPDATE 11/17/2009

I'm currently planning out a new fan fiction for Fushigi Yuugi. This will be my very first Fushigi Yuugi fan fiction and my very first serious attempt at a project after years of inactivity. I'm moving to a new house right now so I'll be busy with other things for a few weeks but as soon as I'm settled I'll be mapping out the entire story from beginning to end so I won't be hit with writer's block. The main characters in this fan fiction will be Chichiri, Tasuki, and my OC. No, the OC will not be entering the book. At least not yet. That storyline is overused.

I'll be graduating very soon so I won't have any homework to bog me down until Spring of next year when I plan to start college. Yay!

Things have really changed for me since I moved. My writing had changed and so has my view on life. Because of that I feel I must restart everything; take out all the old stories that got me nowhere and start fresh.

I'm sorry for all those who hoped I would continue my old stories but I just can't get myself to do them when they feel so... wrong to me.

About my OC:

Her name is Arabella, which means "answered prayer". Its significance will make sense when I post up my new fan fiction. Anyway, at her best she's bold, humorous, honest, determined, kind, hard working, perceptive, and very clever. At her worst she's difficult, critical, pushy, sarcastic, conniving, and aggressive. At the very start, she's 19 years old. German, Italian, and Japanese blood run through this heroine's veins. Fiery yet warm gold eyes are framed by black, wavy tresses. She stands tall for a girl at 5'8 and has a long, yet proportional slender body. Her style is comfy/tomboy/urban. Basically, she just throws on whatever is convenient & relatively presentable. She doesn't really care about fashion. Also, she has a little brother named Angelo who has been in and out of the hospital all his life. She and Angelo live alone together in a small apartment.

I might draw a picture of her and post it up so readers can have a better image of her. And no, she's not based on me.

Arabella's name was originally Akira but I changed it for the sake of the fan fiction even though I knew her as Akira for many years. I've grown pretty attached to that name. Akira means "clear", "anchor", or "ideal".
