Hobbies: Writing is my fave. But I'm an ex-cheerleader and I like to play songs on the keyboard (by ear, since I can no longer read sheet music) and learn languages. I also spend inordinate amounts of time with my best friends doing pretty much whatever, and when school isn't trying to suffocate me completely, I enjoy reading and SLEEPING.
Favorite Bands/Artists: Something Corporate, Mae, Snow Patrol, Death Cab For Cutie, Daphne Loves Derby, Elton John, Kate Voegele, Metro Station, Band of Horses, Quietdrive, and Youth Group. I also love classical music, particularly the stylings of Camille Saint-Saens (Le Carnaval Des Animaux).
Favorite Movies: Edward Scissorhands, Donnie Darko, Knocked Up, Phantom of the Opera, Where the Heart Is, Some Like It Hot, Beauty & the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Hitch, Lars and the Real Girl, and Harry Potter movies.
Favorite Books: In no particular order... Favorite Pairings: I love all the customary pairings... Ron/Hermione, Harry/Ginny, etc. but I also like to read stories where the characters get with people they wouldn't normally get with (such as Draco/Hermione or Nate/Serena), as long as the story is well-written and believable. I do NOT read slash... not that I'm against it or anything, I just find a lot of it really hard to believe. I'm also not a huge fan of fics where teachers and students hook up.
Stories in Progress (as of 6/12/08)
1) Begin Again (Peter Pan): This is the sequel to Never Say Goodbye, and I think it's going really well so far! If you're interested in reading it, you probably want to read NSG first, otherwise there will be MAJOR spoilers (and things could get confusing). This story is a lot of fun to write. It's all about this girl, Aimee Morgan (Jenna Parker's polar opposite, for those who read NSG) who winds up in Neverland & meets the heartbroken James Hook (Captain Hook's son). I know it sounds corny, but I swear it won't be! There are a lot of other factors that will be added to the story as things progress, but hopefully you'll enjoy it! It takes place about 5 years after NSG ends.
2) The Crumbling Castle (A Series of Unfortunate Events): This is kind of like my first AU fic. Basically, it's ASOUE with a Cinderella twist. I've been trying to write it in Lemony Snicket's style, and hopefully I haven't completely butchered it! Quigley has finally been introduced into the story (I know, it's about time, right?) but many of you are still asking about Sunny. Never fear, she will show up! I promise that she WILL be a part of this story.
3) The World's Next Top Princess (Disney): Thirteen princesses and other heroines from the stories you love are in a competition to be the World's Next Top Princess (modeled after America's Next Top Model). They must undergo new challenges and evaluations and compete against each other to get what they really want. What happens when they begin to drop the good behavior and reality TV drama ensues?
Other News (as of 10/8/08)
1) Lucy2350 has just begun translating Never Say Goodbye into Spanish! This is my first Peter Pan fic ever to be translated, and it is a huge honor. Go check it out in the translation links!
2) Updates have been REALLY difficult because of school trying to suck the fun out of me. My next update will probably be Chapter 16 of Begin Again and I'm truly sorry to readers of my other stories for neglecting them. I will try to catch up on this asap.
3) I turned eighteen on September 15! Happy birthday to me. :)
