Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter. I'm afraid that I can't make my bio as interesting as I would like to, as my hands do not move over the keyboard with the mastery I see many posess. So I suppose I'll just lay down the bare facts about myself.
I am Belgian but I have not lived in Belgium since I was three. Right now, I live on the outskirts of Paris, France. I have lived eleven years in the United States (which explains my English). I can also speak Spanish (I am told) though my teachers repeatedly shudder when I participate in class.
Types of fanfiction I like:
- really good 'uber-powered Harry' stories (see The Red Dragons Order for some of the most amazing stories ever!)
- angsty and dark HP/SS (like 'Precious Illusions', 'The Last Dance' and 'Diamonds in the Dust')
- well, most action adventure stories
- creative veela and vampire fics (don't ask)
- for some odd reason, I have a taste for really out of this world AU fics (think 'The Rider' and 'The Warlock' which came way out of left field I'm telling you)
- just about any fic where Harry is described as beautiful, smart and talented (this would explain my fondness for slash stories, right?)
My favorite pairings are:
- HP/SS, HP/DM, HP/TR, HP/HR, SS/HR
I have a chronic dislike of any HP/GW where Ginny discovers all those strange and war-winning powers she never knew she had. Ootp only confirms what I've always believed, Harry's the special, prophecized one with cool powers. Get over it.
I don't mind R/HR as a secondary pairing but as for them being the main pairing... I dunno, it seems that having read one or two of them, I've just about read them all.
By the way, I have finally found slash's answer to Riley's legendary story, 'Pawn to Queen.' Telanu's 'Tea' series is absolutely beautiful and angsty and is the perfect answer to Riley's masterpiece. Unfortunately, Telanu only archives her stories at the Potter Slash Archive and her website (the link is on PSA). To everyone who truly appreciates a good Harry/Dnape, don't miss out on it! (And Telanu's coffee series isn't bad either!) |
