I can officially say that I am completely inactive on FF.net in terms of writing. I read other people's work like a fiend, but I don't write for my fandoms anymore.
This is probably because my fandoms have matured beyond Harry Potter, and I feel that I cannot write for these different characters in a realistic way.
Not that I knock on HP writers, mind you. If you see my Favorites, there are quite a few brilliantly-written gems in that universe. But...I dunno...Harry Potter was like my childhood obsession, ya know? I think I grew out of it once I finished the last page of the last book.
But enough of that. My current obsessions?
Heroes: I am a huge, Huge, HUGE fan of Sylar. Like, HOMGWHOA am I into him. Any pairing with him is bound to be twisted and hot and oh-so-interesting. My all-time favorite is definitely Sylar/Mohinder (the ORIGINAL MYLAR, thank you very much), but I do enjoy some Sylar/Claire, Sylar/Peter, and Peter/Nathan. Because slash and incest are so yummy. ::sarcasmsarcasmsarcasm::
:D
Jane Eyre: This is my recent RECENT obsession, since I finally finished the novel, and am currently swooning over the current BBC adaptation with Toby and Ruth. I plan to watch the 1983 and 1973 versions, since they are much closer to the novel. But as of right now...::SWOONSWOONSWOON:: The 2006 one suits me just fine...even if it's rather fanfic-y. ;)
House: I was in love at first snark with House, but I haven't watched a single episode of the current season: I HATE how the show's been going. But circa-Season 2, I was a huge, Huge, HUGE fan of House/Cameron. Deep down, I will always support them. But sadly, there hasn't been a single H/C moment in a REALLY long time. Damn future House/Cuddy. ::growl:: DAMN YOU DAVID SHORE!!!
::cough:: Ahem. That's it for now, I guess. If I have the courage, I may post something drabble-like in one of the above fandoms. But that's about a 0.000000000001 chance, methinks. ;)
