Here's a sneak peek of chapter 6 of CMH-

Sesshomaru was beginning to feel irritated. He had come in expecting no more than a brief five-minute meeting with the man, two involving the shuffling of papers and the other three for a quick review of his qualifications and an even speedier reply.

It was obvious that he had been mistaken.

How much time had passed? He flickered his eyes to the clock behind the man’s head, noting the position of the hands. Approximately twenty-five minutes, he calculated. His usual frown deepened as he turned his attention back on the man, mind roving to the lecture he would be missing for this.

His eyes narrowed fractionally. If there was one thing that was utterly intolerable to him, it was missing class. Attendance was essential; mandatory if he was to gain the acceptance of the college he desired. Although...that had been the reason he'd come here in the first place, hadn't it? To add on to his already impeccable transcript.

Briefly, he entertained the idea of simply walking out on the man’s consistent babble. It was not as though he was even listening; he’d stopped sometime about twenty minutes ago. And the information was pure nonsense, both repetitive and vapid.

However, it was probably best to not risk antagonizing the headmaster.

"This is a wonderous way to involve yourself in our school," the man had said for what seemed the tenth time. "You have our appreciation for participating in such a rewarding program. It is wonderful when students as talented as you find the time to do such things. Teens these days simply lack motivation." He cleared his throat noisily, much to Sesshomaru’s disgust. "Now, have you any further questions?"

The quailing glare was all that was needed to send the man looking back down nervously. "Well, we’ll be sure to contact you when necessary. Thank you for seeing me."

Without a single word, the white-haired boy exited the office, eyes impassive aside from a frigid glint.
