I'm back! And damn wasn't that hiatus a hell of a lot longer than I predicted. Damnola.
Okay, here's the deal. I started writing my original novel seriously and everything was going pretty well, I thought that I would be finished in a matter of months then I could get back to Early Graves. Then I needed a new job which I got swiftly but it turned sour pretty fuckin' quick.
I got a job at a restaurant which was... well it was important for me to work there but at the same time I feel that it was mostly not worth it. I did benefit from that lousy shithouse but I am oh so very glad that I'm out of there. Now I'm working in a deli at a grocery store that only exists in the town that I live in and it is better in every thinkable way, I can get out of working if I am in a bad condition and I am basically just provided for a hell of a lot better and I'm not worked nearly to death.
At that restaurant I had to work regardless of how sick I was, I had splitting migraines sometimes, my legs were so stiff that I could not bend my knees and on one ocasion I was literally not capable of standing up after I sat down -and that happened in between two shifts of the same day. When I still sucked it was winter and I had broken my arm shortly before hand, I had to walk from one side of town to the other, sick, with a broken arm so I could toss salads at two different portions of the day for people who made -and continue to make- more money than I did and currently do either from lazy jobs or rich parents -I live in a college town.
I got an old laptop for chirstmas which I would bring with me, between shifts I would go to borders and type on the slow computer -which hurt my broken arm but I didn't care- and I still wrote a thousand words every single day. When I finished the novel I forget a nightmare of important things concerning sending the book to publisher and I am happy to say that I have finally sent it away. After it was finished I decided I needed a break from writing. Then as soon as I got out of that place and into my good job I started writing again.
It has been one hell of a ride, much harder and faster than I expected or wanted or thought was worth it. But it's over now, and Early Graves will be updated every month on the twenty fifth until it is finished, probably early 2008.
I really missed doing this, and I really hope that I have not lost all of my readers.

A fellow author by the pen name Juusan Ikkiuichi has been kind enough to draw fanart for Early Graves. They're really good, but sadly the links don't work yet. When they do I'll put them here and say that they work in an A/N and I might even e-mail a few people about it.
Future Project Ideas Love Only The Dead: Two more original characters from Balamb Garden go on an elaborate mission where they suffer obligatory personnel problems due to shared grief. Set before the epilogue of Early Graves. Romance/Action/Adventure. Mature.
The Witches Of Balamb: A Musical: An AU FF8 fic focusing on Seifer, Squall and Zell working together. This is inspired by the anime Witch Hunter Robin and Evangelion, so far it has no story, most likely it will just be a mix of OOC and cartoonieness applied to humor -and only the humor- action scenes and pointlessness. And a pairing that I have never seen on Fanfiction.net before, if I'm right and it's never been used before then I will be proud. It will most likely have 10-20 page chapters and will only be updated when I feel like it. And on top of all of that it's going to be a musical as the title declares. Action/Adventure/Humor. Teen or Mature.
Fan Blood: Someone is sytematically killing all of the Trepies. If anyone can guess who the killer is before I write the final chapter I will write a oneshot of ANYTHING the reviewer asks for, even if it's a yaoi -yeah, that how hard it will be to figure it out- I'd really like to write this one after I finish Early Graves because it's going to be short. Nevermind, not anything, I won't do a Gary-Stu for example but MOST ANYTHING. Mystery/Horror. Mature.
Walk Away: Oneshot about Zells hair, inspired by comments made by xhara99. Humor. Kids.
Untitled: Oneshot, what if version of the FF9 ending. Humor. Kids or Teen.
Redeeming Ghoul: An FF7 sequel about Sephiroth rising from the dead, Soul Reaver style! His mission is to redeem himself eventually by redeeming others. Spiritual/Supernatural. Teen or Mature.
Final Fantasy Champloo: An AU FF7,8,9,10 Crossover fic set in an unusually large version of Wutai from FF7, it will be about Aeris, Sephiroth and Zack traveling together. Aeris's life is changed for the worst when a group of nefarious cloaked warriors from Tifas past known as the 'Akaakame' begin tracking them down along with three other women from other parts of the world. Theirs motives are unknown but it is clear that they are powerful enemies and they will not be stopped. Inspired by the anime Samurai Champloo, and a certain group of villains from Naruto. Action/Adventure/Supernatural. Teen or Mature... most likely Mature.
After I finish Early Graves I'm planning on starting whatever fic my reviewers ask for next. I suppose it will be a voting thing, but that doesn't matter yet since I'm far from finishing Early Graves as of now. After I finish Early Graves I will write all of my Oneshots just to get them written THEN I'll write whatever my reviewers ask for. Just letting ya know.
