Oh, jeez...it's been so long since I've been on FF.net! And my bio needs a serious revamping.

First off. Thank you so much to each and every one of you who have read, reviewed, and stuck with my story. I love you all so much. Even if you have only left one review, thank you. Thank you, thank you. I absolutely cannot thank you all enough. Every time I get an e-mail with comments, my heart glows all warm and fuzzy. Anyone who knows me well also knows that I'll rarely admit this much sentiment!

I know there's a few of you out there who really, really want me to keep writing. To you, I give an even heartier thanks. Thank you so much for sticking with me as I've developed something resmbling skill in writing. I'm currently in the process of not only writing more, but redoing much of my earlier chapters. There's a lot more that I want to add.

I'll apoligize for the length of time it's been since my last update. I'm sure that some of you doubt whether I'll ever post another chapter. For those of you who care, another huge thank you! Don't lose enthusiasm, please!

It's taken a long time, not because I haven't been writing, but because I've been writing so much. A friend of mine started writing a Diablo 2 fic of her own, and it appears that we may be meshing our stories together. I've been writing a lot not only with her story, but also with later bits that would happen only if our two fics do indeed come together. So, the story is currently at a crossroads. I want very much to continue with my original plans, but that would conflict rather severely with my friend's story. Ahhh, the decisions to be made!

I've also been toying with the idea of a sequel.

Good lord, as if I didn't have enough to do already. I'll never get a Forgotten Realms or Warcraft 3 fic out! Ah well, my heart and soul belong to the necromancer, now and forever!

But, as of December 27th, 2003, I AM STILL WRITING! Chapter 10 is coming along...and with any luck, I'll finish the paper/pencil version of it tonight. All that remains then is to type it. Who knows? If we're lucky (and I'm not too distraced by the Dungeons and Dragons campaign I'm running), I may have an update by New Years.
I may have to celebrate after all!
