Name: Edward Dover. Call me Ed.
Age: 18
Having been reading fanfiction, and lets be rational, reading in general since I was 8, I would consider myself an avid reader. I love reading, and while my collection of paper books is small, I still have a fair collection at my disposal and within my memory. I've read many styles and genres, I like to say I'm a fair judge at knowing what is good and what is not. In the fanfiction universe, I take to reading a lot of AUs or continuations of storylines, makes things interesting. I don't read anything with bad characterization, and I try hard to keep as many cliche plots out of my sightline.
I write, but nothing I feel is good to put here. I mostly role play, and I barely do that anymore. College keeps me from writing whimsical things from my imagination, but its for the best is what I tell myself. I'm a reader, it's what I do, it's what I like to do, and its what I am good at. Maybe someday I'll hunker down over a break period and throw something together, a one-shot or something.
Hobbies: Reading (Bet you didn't see that one coming), Collecting images from various animated series I watch/watched/watching, chatting with friends (If I can get a hold of one these days), playing games (I'm a decent Smasher...I think), Rping, Pondering why endings to series always want to make me pick up a chair a beat the writer to death with it, Watching various animated series. I say various, because hey, sometimes America manages to throw something out there that is halfway decent. I know people categorize them as anime, but I don't. If I don't see a Japanese studio in the credits, that shit is a cartoon (whoo! Avatar!). Researching (anything, I swear its fun! Just 3 hours on wiki, you will be changed forever), and lastly, digging holes...don't ask.
Just for fun, I read most of Tolkien's works before entering 8th grade...it was a contest between friends...an unspoken contest but a contest no less. To this day I have no idea how I understood it all.
