03/30/07- EVANESCENCE. Amy sounds very good live, and the entire theatre was standing while they were playing.

09/07/07- WITHIN TEMPTATION. The biggest gathering of Goths in New York City I've ever seen, and the most fun I've had in a while. Within Temptation freaking rock.

05/07/08- NIGHTWISH. I got to meet the band and everything, and got my picture taken with Marco, Tuomas and Anette. I was also in the second row, so i was like, five feet from the stage, and totally rocking out. Headbanging, hand signs, screaming, singing, clapping-- the whole lot of it. I can't wait for them to tour the States again.

11/10/08- EMILIE AUTUMN. She and her Bloody Crumpets are pretty hilarious on stage. It's like a mixture of theatre and music. They made tea, walked on stilts, and even played with fire! Everyone was all dressed up too, I felt I should have worn more than just black jeans and a corset. I had to leave a little early so we didn't miss the train, but I had a lot of fun :D

Dislikes:

Mallgoths. You know them-- the people who label others as "preps", or "jocks" even though they claim to hate labels, think that bands like Evanescence and HIM are the darkest bands in the world (don't get me wrong, people can like them if they want to, hell, I like Ev, but PLEASE, they are not "dark"), think that Goth is all about rebelling and shocking people (it's about CREATIVITY!), and so on. And now, the freaking freshman class has a few of them... UUUGGGHHH...

Allergies. Ugghhh.

Disney Channel. Corporate monster out to destroy what's left of children's intelligence and imagination. Especially that Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana crap. Grrr. I guess you don't have to be talented to get on TV, huh?
