I'm a 21 year old Cancer/Gemini (I'm on a cusp) and a senior at UC
Berkeley. I began writing when I was about ten, and have continued
steadily ever since. Currently, I have no idea what I want to be when I
"grow up" and leave the safe haven of academia, though thoughts of
living in a garret and writing stories all the time does have its
appeal. One problem: No one builds houses with garrets anymore.
I'd
like to call myself a Practical Romantic, but I'm more of a Hopeless
Romantic, which you will no doubt see evidenced in my writing. I have a
propensity for pairing characters together, generally with lots of
angst involved. I am especially fond of reformed badboys, hence my
undying love for Ash and unfulfilled wish to be Mary-Lynette. sigh
Things I am obsessed with:
Veronica Mars (LoVe and Mac/Dick)
Night World (Ash and Mary-Lynette are my favorite characters)
Inuyasha (Kagome + Inuyasha and Sesshie + Rin)
Witch Hunter Robin (Robin and Amon, obviously)
Tamora Pierce (Daine and Numair, of course)
Indian food
Mexican Food (particularly cheese or chicken enchiladas...not so hot on mole sauce, though)
Weezer (Pinkerton is SO my favorite album, but "Say It Ain't So" is my fave song; oh my goodness, Make Believe is AWESOME!)
The Beatles
Writing (Most of my writing is original rather than fanfiction, but I haven't published any of it online.)
Lemon Snapple iced tea
Jane Austen (Pride and Prejudice! Lizzy and Mr. Darcy are just the coolest couple in the world.)
Romantic Comedies (movies and books)
Dulce de Leche ice cream
As I think of more things, I shall add them to the list. _
Okay,
from now on I'm going to set myself dates by which I will update.
Otherwise, I find myself dithering over chapters, fixing minute details
until I get sick of reading them and push them aside for another time.
Wish me luck. :-p
Updates:
"Come Again?" is done! I hope you guys liked it!
"Hesitating" is on hold until I can hack into my old computer hardrive to get the files out. I have three more chapters done, but just can't post them right now. Sorry.
