In real life I'm a grad student, but most of the time I live in my head. When I'm not doing what I have to do, I do what I want to do, which includes reading slash and other fanfic, and writing it too. There's not much else about me a) that's interesting and b) that I'll admit to here. Except that I have pink hair and several tattoos, I'm a ditz and a klutz, and I'm one of those annoying people who memorizes the dialogue of entire movies.
I am pretty new to the Mighty Ducks fandom, and I will probably only ever write Bash Slash (I'm kind of an OTP girl). I also like LOTR RPS and FPS (BB/DM or Pippin/Merry), but I haven't written any myself. I'm also a huge fan of Elden Henson. Right now I'm working on a het fic based on his movie The Mighty, which in turn is based on Rodman Philbrick's amazing book Freak the Mighty (and there's an equally amazing sequel, Max the Mighty). My fic, which is called "A Better Fate than Wisdom", is posted under the pen name "not even the rain", NOT here, under "two-minutes-for-slashing". This is so I can keep it separate from my slash fic. Also, I just want to make sure everybody knows that my story "Fixity of Vision" is based on a fic by another author. Caroline Crane wrote an incredible story from Fulton's POV called "Plainer to My Sight", which you can find on her website at http://www.carolinecrane.net/plainer.html I loved her story so much I decided to retell it from Portman's POV, and Caroline has kindly given me permission to post mine. So yes, I wrote my story, but the concept, plot, and dialogue all belong to Caroline.
