You ask about lil' old me? Well, I'm a grad student studying library science, and currently into Harry Potter and The Avengers. I used to be Katmon Ichijouji here on FFN before my account was deleted. (Don't know why; it's not like the lemons were THAT graphic. I didn't think. -sticks tongue out at FFN-)

You'll find that most of my fics have been beta'd by magickmaker17 (my sister) or, more recently, Shara Lunison (my ex), while a number of chapters have been beta'd by some of the friends I've made through various places in the fandom. There's also the few fics and chapters which I've beta'd myself - personal projects, or just because I didn't have the time to get it beta'd before I had it posted, or I didn't want to pester people. And, of course, there's always the mistakes that are caught by my loving reviewers. Arigatou, minna-san!

ON PLAGIARISM!
My mother always taught me that plagiarism is the highest form of acclaim that one can receive, but that doesn't mean I'm about to let people get away with it. If I find out someone's doing it – and I often do, since I have the most AMAZING reviewers in the world – I'll message that person and usually give them a week to either remove the story in question, or give me credit for the idea before I report them. That's just how I usually do it.
But, above all, BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO KEEPS ME UPDATED ON THESE FICS THAT STEAL MY IDEAS! YOU GUYS ROCK!

PMs:
I seem to run into this problem a lot lately. People send me a PM and seem to expect one back, but they've got their PM service disabled and they don't have any stories published, so there's no way to contact them. If you're going to use the PM feature, make sure people can send you PMs back. ;)

On Updates:
I get a LOT of PMs and reviews pleading (and sometimes demanding) that I update a WIP, so I figured I might try to nip those in the bud a bit: I usually pull out every fic I'm working on and reread it every two-three months, then try and write a bit more. If I don't have an inspiration for that fic, I usually can't manage more than a couple sentences before I'm ramming my head into the keyboard and I have to put it away for a bit, so it takes quite a bit for me to write a chapter this way. (Bloody Feather being the exception, as the next chapter is written, I've just been lazy about typing it up...) I've also got something like 10-15 unposted WIPs which I'd like to finish before posting, which distract me from the fics you guys really want.
Abandoning fics?
Unless the summary says I've abandoned/discontinued a fic – look to To Be a Woman or Their Secret Lives for examples – that fic is still a part of my rotation and, no, it's NOT abandoned. (There's only four of them.) I also mark these fics as complete, since they'll never go any further than they are now.
