Author has written 22 stories for Silmarillion, and Lord of the Rings.

Professor Tolkien did a wonderful thing in recording the histories of Elves and Men. But even he did not know the whole story. Most of those Professor Tolkien wrote of passed from this world long ago. Few recorded the history of the Eldar of the First Age, because none were alive to do so. Few of my people remain in this place, but I have chosen to linger, to pass on the tales and songs of the Elves before my time draws to a close. They are tales of deepest sorrow and sweetest joy. The former greatness of my people may be gone forever, but memories will forever linger. I am Lady Miriel Amarian, and I beg you to do me the great honor of reading my tales, and remembering not only the history of my people, the Eldar, but of yours as well.

Namarie!
