ABOUT ME:
Regarding my new fic The Spectre: Just so you all know, the Spectre is DC Comics' Angel of the Divine Wrath and he's the most powerful human spirit. He wears a green cloak and has a chalky white "skin tone" if you could call it a skin tone. He needs a human anchor to execute God's judgement so he doesn't just kill people. I'm making B.B. his new human host, he's basically the Angel of Death.
Quick Rant:
Is Raven under some kind of curse that author's must constanlty, and I mean constantly have her raped by somone (i.e. Robin, Beast Boy, Adonis, Johnny Rancid, stranger, Trigon etc.) Can't you leave Raven alone?! Her poor Mother Arella has already been through that, DON'T CURSE RAVEN BY MAKING HER SUFFER!! Those Raven-is-raped fics are really ticking me off.
Quick The Black, The White, And The Red Note:
Good news, good news, I HAVE Under The Hood by Judd Winick and I'm getting Vol. 2, I am in the midst of saving up for HUSH VOL. 1 and 2, along with AS THE CROW FLIES, one I get these then my Red X fic will rock the world once I get some good ideas going! As of chapter 13, this fic will be ON HIATUS. It will be a a long, LONG time before Jason becomes Red X again for three reasons, one I have to do the HUSH story arc and two, I have AS THE CROW FLIES to do and three, I have to do both volumes of UNDER THE HOOD and all that before all is said and done.
Current Status of Fic: Chapter 21 done and published, 22 not done yet. Working on chpater 22 of 55. You read it right, 55 chapters. I hope you all don't get fatigued. I've got all my materials, now comes the hard part: writing. I'm working on my Red X fic will rock the world once I get some good ideas going! The sequel to The Black, The White And The Red is in my head, current title is The Thin Red Line, but I might change it. Summary is classified. If I told you it'd spoil the ending of TBTWATR.
Cidgregor: How the heck to you write so well? I just don't get why I can't do as good a job as you do! I really shouldn't compare myself to anyone else. I have my own unique writing style. You made me respect the BB/T pairing in fan fiction. I respect it in the show because the writers know what they're doing; unfortunately, a lot of fan fic writers don't. Good writer's for this pairing exist (gasp!). And I've only found one of them...
Classic Cowboy: You are so good at what you do! Dude, I swear you are the King of Crossovers, you do such a good job. I mean, who would have thought of a Star Wars/Kim Possible fusion fic and have been able to bring it to life? I try my hardest. I want my sequel to Kim Possible's "The Batman" A.S.A.P!!
Remix 17: Dude, you are the BEST Red X fic writer EVER! I mean, Identity Thief was pure genius! You make my Red X fic look sad, but I'm going to update so wach out for some competition!
TheRealThing: You write so well, you said you're going to be a published author, you must let me know when your book is out! Your Star Wars AUs really blow my mind.
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS OF FAN FICTION WRITERS By Instant Coffee, paraphrased by me, a little bit:
1. There is no limit to what can happen in life, just as the possibilities are endless in what can occur in a story.
2. Speaking on character – flaws rock! A character that can kick butt AND get their butt kicked is (Insert adjective here) It’s a character everyone will love because they can relate to it. NEVER create a character that no one can relate to, at the least, on an emotional level. You WILL get flamed, and I WON’T be chickenpooenough to not sign in, like many other flamers out there. (BTW – if flamers can’t sign in and state their opinion, chances are they’re too scared of your retaliation and weren’t worth listening to.)
3. Stand out. Why take an idea already formed when you have the power to create a situation not yet inferred? Take advantage of the possibilities your mind can produce, and make something out of it.
4. Detail is the reader’s way of seeing what you wish to depict. Why express what your characters are feeling with_ and @_@, etc.? There is no harm in spoon feeding your audience with imagery
5. Plagiarism does not make you a better writer. It makes you an imbecile for discrediting another person’s work, and a writer whose passion is not to be taken seriously any longer.
6. Never be afraid to start over! There are many instances in which something will not work right the first time. If so, why keep things that way? After all, if you do not like what you wrote, yet insist on keeping things so, chances are your readers will not like what you wrote, as well, and may question your ability and talent as an author.
7. Smugness does NOT work in the writing field. Take the initiative to review another story that may interest you, and chances are, you will be repaid just the same. ALL stories are review-worthy.
8. The summaries and titles of a story are just as important as the story itself. It is the reader’s first impression of what they are about to read. Often I find myself reading summaries and then reading the story to find it enchanting, and worthy of my favorites’ list.
9. Do not write for reviews, for if you do not write for the enjoyment and experience of writing, then you are writing for a lost cause.
10. Lastly: Writing is an art; treat it as such. There is no shortcut to producing the best type of art imaginable. There is only producing the best type of art imaginable with one’s heart, soul, and imagination.

Why: I say opposites attract. Did anyone notice that in NEVERMORE Beast Boy was trying to be nice to her, although he wasn't doing a great job of it, he was still trying. They even out each other. Raven keeps Beast Boy's antics in check while he tries to help her.

It's kind of obviousthey have a thing for each other. And they're so stinkin' cute together. A note to all the Robin/Raven shippers: It's not gonna happen, ever! I mean, in the KINGDOM COME Titans universe, Nightwing (Robin) MARRIED Starfire, and they had a daughter, Mar'i, 'Nightstar', Grayson. If that's not proof I don't know what is. That may not be this Titan universe, but they still belong together.
THE PAIRING THAT SHOULD NEVER, EVER BE DONE:
Slade/Arella
Why: They've never met, for one and do you think Slade is honestly going to fall for Raven's mother, and that she would do likewise? He works for the interdimensional demon that RAPED her, there is NO WAY ON EARTH she's going to fall in love with this guy!
