Author has written 41 stories for Harry Potter. I know no one reads this. I don't care. I read profiles excessively, and so, my eons long one is for that one person like me who does. :) That being said, I loved DH with the passion of a thousand suns. I can't believe it's over. Here's what's coming, thanks to it: -Aeternam: sequel to Requiem. The lives of Cho Chang and Draco Malfoy during that last year, featuring a cast of old and new. Currently in the works. -Emerald Green: Ginny Weasley and Harry Potter. Seven years, seven moments. -Translation: Some things, thankfully, are never lost in translation. Bill/Fleur. -Famous Last Words: What Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks said to each other in those last moments. -On: Death, after life, for Aberforth Dumbledore. Or is it life, after death? -He Is: He is completely and utterly wrong for her. That much she knows. As for the rest, she has no fucking idea. All she knows is how it started, and how it’s going. That’s enough, for now. Draco/Cho one shot. -To Retrace One's Steps to the Upper Air: "It is easy to go down into Hell; night and day, the gates of dark Death stand wide; but to climb back again, to retrace one's steps to the upper air - there's the rub, the task" (The Aeneid). Cho Chang climbs out of hell. Cho/Cedric -Letters to Cho Chang: For every month during that last year, he writes her a letter that he knows he'll never send. Draco Malfoy/Cho Chang -Seek: Four children from four houses, in the same position, all seeking something. Some find it and some never do. Cedric Diggory holds on tight to his last year on earth. An explanation of my fics... If you look, you'll see how my writing has changed over the time I've been at ff.net. I'd like to think that my later fics are better than my very first ones. I keep my older pieces up, as shitty as they are, because it feels wrong taking them down. Yes, they're pretty terrible, but they're an imprint of the person I was then and...they're staying up. I apologize for all terrible grammar, bad characterization and any teenybopperishness in my earlier fics. I apologize for any butcherings of characters in my later ones, and additional grammar mistakes. All pieces with the exception of From the View of a Butterfly (second chapter and onwards) written before Shattered were written pre-HBP. All pieces after Shattered are written post-HBP. Any pieces after Requiem will be written post-DH. I ship: Draco/Cho with a passion, Cedric/Cho, Ron/Hermione, Dean/Luna, Fred/Angelina mostly, but I also like Draco/Pansy, Bill/Fleur, and the occasional George/Angelin Why all these Cho fics? Because, I have a feeling that the Cho we saw in OotP is Cho on acid. Because nobody acts like that unless their boyfriend has been just murdered by an evil overlord. Because she's so much more interesting fanonly. And because half the fandom would like nothing more to see her skewered and roasted, I, being a rebel, would like to see her for who she really is. Without the skewering and roasting, that is. Why the grammar errors? I haven't had a BETA since...since a very long time ago. I do my best to read my stuff three million times before, but I still miss things, so a big apology in advance. Almost everything I wrote in 2004 has HUGE grammar errors, sorry! I assure you that I have a copy of both Strunk's Elements of Style and Eats, Shoots, and Leaves on my bookshelf. What's with the angst? Because I'm not talented enough to write anything else. ;P Why is everything you write one-shot? Because I am commitment-phobic and unable to complete stories. I'm utterly incompetent. Your penname... is utterly ridiculous, I know. But I took it on because it was one of my first RPG/OC characters...and I was young and naive. I refuse to change it though, because I know I get confused when authors change their pennames...so I'm basically stuck with it. It's the same on Fiction Alley and AML at The Unknowable Room.
