Author has written 9 stories for Alvin and the chipmunks, Dawn of the Dead, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, and Star Wars.

I am a 28 year old mom of one. I love to write, and really like to write about my favorite characters from tv shows and movies - I love to make the characters mine.

Like many others who post on this site, I hope someday to become a professionally published author. I think that fanfiction provides a fantastic environment to practice one's writing skills, explore the possibilities and 'what if's' regarding much-beloved works of fiction, but most important of all I think that it provides an amazing community. That community provides a creative outlet, a haven where we can share our ideas and mutual admiration for our hundreds of different fandoms, and a place where those who aren't content to let their own imaginations be trapped inside their heads can let their creativity run wild.

My personal fandom favorites stretch over a huge range.

Favorite Fandoms:

Star Wars - a favorite of thousands of fanfic writers. I have a serious weakness for twenty-something Anakin Skywalker, his story, and the angstyfall of Anakin and rise of Darth Vader. But everything in Star Wars fascinates me, to be perfectly honest - I admit that with a grin on my face.

Star Trek - all four series, though I would say my favorite would have to be Deep Space Nine...again, I love all of them. I used to write a lot of Star Trek fanfic waaay back in high school, almost ten years ago now, but none of that is posted here. I'm ordering the dvds for Next Gen soon, though, so Fanfiction.net might be seeing some new Star Trek fics from me...

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - the amazing amount of fanfic for BtVS speaks for itself...Buffy is the perfect show to support fanfic, and I've got more than one Buffy story in the works...

Angel - see Buffy!

Forever Knight - A Canadian vampire show with terrible special effects, hum-drum realism, but fascinating characters and very interesting stories. Once you get past the cheesy effects and the eighties style clothes/hair, this is an addictive fandom that too few know about.

Red Dwarf - Cult BBC TV show that I think is personally the funniest series ever made. I love the Cat, love to hate Rimmer, and think Holly should take over my workplace computer. We'd never get anything done, but at least we'd have a laugh.

Dawn of the Dead (George A. Romero's zombi-fied universe) - I suppose this isn't quite a fandom, per se, but zombies absolutely terrify me, which as one who is known as the Horror Movie Queen amongst my family of course compels me to watch films that display their rather unsavory eating habits as if I were nothing but a mindles zomb...uh...well, anyways, 2004 Dawn of the Dead is my favorite, I think. (Pyxelle ducks as original DotD fans throw various human organs at her head)

Sliders - alternate realities...nuff said. Fascnination with alternate realities is what DRIVES many fanfic writers. How could a show that visits a different reality every episode go wrong?

Lord of the Rings - There are just no words for the awesomeness of the books or the movies. (... ... ...) Legolas rocks, Gimli rocks, Aragorn rocks, Merri and Pippin rock, Faramir and Eowyn...well, you get the picture.

World of Darkness - roleplaying games that encompass mages, werewolves, vampires, wraiths, demons...when I don't want to be me any more, I hook up with some friends around a table and we pretend to live here. Or, since I'm usually a vampire, I pretend to spend my unlife here.

Alvin and the Chipmunks - Okay, after the previous list this one seems pretty weird. I have a six year old son and wrote him "Alvin and the Chipmunks meet Dracula," a story written by request for a very imaginative little boy. I used to love this cartoon when I was little, so I was happy to write him a special story. Which somehow turned into two more stories, which...well...the other stories I wrote in this section...well, explaining where they came from is a very long story in and of itself. Don't ask. And yes, I am intending to finish them!

My current writing obsession is my fanfic "The Souls of Demons," which is a Star Wars alternate reality fiction in which Luke falls to the Dark side at the end of Return of the Jedi. This AU continues with Darth Vader's realization that he had damned his son and his attempt to redeem himself by returning to the Light side of the Force (reclaiming the body of his younger self and regaining his humanity in the process) and by bringing Luke back out of Darkness. Then it progresses to Anakin finding Leia in order to train her in the ways of the Jedi...and from beyond there, the story that was no longer a story announced that it had stubbornly decided to be my first fanfiction novel. It was originally going to be thirty or so pages. As it stands now, it is thirteen chapters, nearly one hundred and fifty pages, and the outline is indicating that it will probably run to a total of three hundred fifty to four hundred pages...but since its size has swelled and changed throughout its creation, I can't say for sure how long I think it will really be. I can say I fully expect to finish it, as I have a complete outline and I've never been quite so involved in ANY fiction I've been writing, original or fanfiction.

Anyways, thats a bit about this one gal and fanfiction... to any who is reading this, thanks for the interest in me and my stories. I've put a lot of time, effort, and ego into these collections of words. All I can say is thank you for stopping by andI hope you enjoy my work!
