Author has written 2 stories for Shakespeare, and To Kill a Mockingbird.
Hi! My name is Casey blah blah blah...and so on and so forth. Do you really want to hear that? I'd think not.

Since I'm weird I've already thought out a lot of this-odd since I've had a Fictionpress account for 6 months and never thought about my profile over there ever. I think it's because I was debating how I wanted to review Redsplash's newest chapter and was doing mindless outdoor chores...so here goes I suppose:

I've been flitting around FF.net for about a year and a half and have seen some frankly bad stuff, some mediocre stuff and some very good stuff. But I have to admit I admire everyone who posts stuff here because personally I find good fanfiction even harder to write than original stuff. After all a writer a FF.net has to try and match character personalities and writer style perfectly to that of an experience writer, screenplay writer, etc.

If you're writing an original piece you don't have to match anything, it all comes straight out of your head, not to say that original stuff isn't hard-I'm working on quite a few pieces and they are! But it's a different kind of hard. And often characters end up based on already written characters both by accident and on purpose, for example one of my original characters has parts of both Han Solo from Star Wars and, to a degree (and not on purpose) Joey Wheeler from Yu-Gi-Oh. Another one is purposely based on Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh (oh and no I'm not obsessed with it-two of my best friends are)

So that's about all of my rant for now. Toodles! ^_^

My main "fandoms"? Star Wars (first and foremost), Redwall, Harry Potter and a bit of Lord of the Rings.
