Update 11.08.08:
I'm still alive! The Prophecy is being a pain, but I have planned out some things that will happen in the next chapter. I just want to have a good idea of what will happen after that before I'll be able to write it an post it. So it's all a matter of time. Also, I have been working on part 2 of What A Beautiful Day. I have it planned out; I just need to take the time to sit and write it.
I decided that maybe some readers would care to know about the person behind the penname. For the past year, my profile has consisted of nothing but updates, and now I realize that whoever is on my page probably knows about these updates already. Silly and useless, I know. But where do I begin. I could start on that lovely fall day when I came into this world... but who wants to know that anyway?
Name: Samantha (but all my friends call me Sam)
Age: 21
Addictions: Harry Potter, Heroes, LOST, JAG, Lord of the Rings... and now Twilight!
I'm from Wisconsin, going to school in Minnesota, and currently studying the semester in Ireland. This country has turned me into a worst procrastinator than I already was. Updating my profile is just another way of putting off working on an essay that is due in two days. Fanfic, reading and writing it, is my release from university life... and boredom. I've currently got a friend addicted to fanfiction, as payback for her getting me addicted to Twilight. As if my addiction to HP wasn't bad enough, she had to add Twilight to it.
For HP fanfic, Lily/James is my favorite couple and is usually all I read on fanfic, unless I find something else that is very well written. I haven't read many Twilight fics, so if anyone has any recommendations feel free to PM me.
I'm an English major and I can sometimes be very hard to please. I'm not so sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing right now. Somehow I find enough time to read fanfic but never enough time to review it, but I'll try to be better from now on. I know how much reviews mean to people (hint hint). Maybe that can be my New Year's Resolution: submit more reviews. I am currently writing two stories: The Prophecy and What A Beautiful Day. Both are L/J except WABD is a two-shot and The Prophecy is novel-length... and both have taken a backseat to the craziness that is university life (aka piles upon piles of homework). Even though updates are sparse, please read and review, it will motivate me to write more and update quicker.
Thanks all!
