I was born right along with Star Trek in late 1966, and it remains my first love, along with Godzilla. My name is Rob Morris, with Gojirob being a combination of my name and Godzilla. I live in Belmar, New Jersey, once widely known as a Shore party town. My hobby-turned-obsession for the last year has been turning the Elfen Lied Wiki into something to be proud of. I also have an Elfen Lied fic series 'Long Live The Queen', set mostly after the loss of its main character. Lucy is gone, but Kouta and the others, those who loved her and those that hated her will find she is gone but not forgotten--especially as the Diclonius War begins. I have an Avatar : TLA series as well. which I've named 'The Bridge'. Like many of my stories, I prefer dealing with the problems of success than showing off new ones. The heroes have won. A new popular Fire Lord is in place, and of all people, Mai and Sokka are the ones who keep him from killing himself with overwork. But the threat comes not from Ozai, Azula or any one person. The war has left the world in civic ruin. Zuko in effect is the ruler of the world his father and sister wanted to be--except this is the last thing he wants, despite having the confidence of the ever-growing Aang gang. The old balance is shattered, and before celebration or marriages or any kind of real rest, the heroes who saved it all must gain the world a new center and balance. They have won, and they reign justly and unopposed. They also know this cannot last, so they must move quickly. Just for fans of more canonical TLA, please don't take 'The Bridge' as a dismissal or rejection of Dark Horse's 'The Promise' series. I started developing my stories before it came out, and had already decided to go a different path. While I do disagree with a major plot point, its not so fundamental a disagreement that I would recommend against reading it. I still plan to hold to 'Korra' in the final outcome. I've recently begun a series of Voltron fics called 'Interlock', set inbetween moments on the classic cartoon series, and featuring both teams. This series asks questions like : Why did Keith's team go to Arus, and the other fifteen to the Explorer? When did Jeff's group first form Vehicle Voltron? How was it Planet Doom was broken in the first finale, but was once more a huge threat in the new episodes? Why are there ancient legends of Voltron, when we know King Alfor built it in recent times? For fans of my Elfen Lied work - and for just plain fans of Elfen Lied who have their own fanworks, be it fic, pics, audio plays, AMV's--whatever. Let this be my PLEA to you to come on over to the Elfen Lied Wiki and list those works, and maybe use the Elfen Lied Fan Website to host those works. But - I will no longer co-write stories. My experience with doing so or trying to do so has been almost uniformly negative. Please do not ask me to co-author a story. Again, no offense, but issues of time and such mean I am done with this. 4/14/2013 - I have completed the third chapters of Folly and Building My Nephew's Harem for Elfen Lied, and am still on a short highlighting the series' most tragic character. I then plan on the next chapter of Neville's Island, followed by the next chapter of Life After Molmol 2. I am continuing to revise an old Buffy Mega-story as well as a sequel M*A*S*H-Highlander Xover, "There Can Be Only Radar". My long-term plans (fingers crossed) for this year includes Bright Window 2, the Elfen Lied AU wherein Kaede (Lucy) is adopted by Kouta and Yuka's parents, who marry and re-open Maple Inn as a restaurant. I also hope for a Voltron 'Interlock' novella, explaining some of the holes in the ending of the two 80's series. 4/27/2013 - I went ahead and deleted the stories of The Ancient Destroyer Cycle. For now, they're still up on AdAstra, a Star Trek site, where they are much better organized by time-frame and related pieces. I'll go this far : It did not have a downer ending, though Ghidorah's attack on the Alpha Quadrant would have been very costly. It's hard to walk away, but increasingly, I realized, I had already done so. 5/13/2013 - I found the opportunity to get some projects done, both at home and at my parents' house, stuff a long time in coming. I haven't been able to write or edit the EL Wiki, but I'll ask for your patience. These things more or less have to be done this month, before the weather gets hot. Doing them in the fall is also an option, but these past two years, New Jersey has been hit by major weather events that set all plans back - power was out for a week in 2011, and two weeks in 2012. So that time is now, but I should have the rest of 2013 open for my web-work, God willing. 6/6/2013 - I should be back to it really soon. Sorry. These projects have eaten me alive, but now they're 99% done. Had guests too. Sometimes, guests are cowards, inexcusable even when they don't understand something or other.
