Moving On
After Trudi Canavan's Black Magician Trilogy ends Lord Dorrien reflects.
I read Trudi Canavan's Black Magician Trilogy in 2006 and was (and still am) enthusiastic.
This led me to write a One Shot about Dorrien reflecting the last events in the book. I somehow needed to write this to round off the whole story for me - Dorrien was one of my favourite characters from the books and I felt like his story wasn't all finished for me at the End of The High Lord and so I had to write this.
A New Life
Following the conversation Tayend of Tremmelin and Lord Dannyl have after Tayend saved Dannyl from the Cavern of Ultimate Punishment in Trudi Canavan's 'The Novice', Book Two of the Black Magician Trilogy.
Be careful - Holds a major spoiler about Lord Dannyl which is to be discovered in The Novice. So I can't say to much about this here - it's a scene I dearly missed when reading the book and after reading a fic about the events that might have taken place, that didn't please me at all and was completely different to what I imagined, I felt a strong urge to write down my thoughts on what took place after Dannyl finally... well you know what ;)

Lost Trust
After Trudi Canavan's Age of the Five Trilogy ends Danjin Spear thinks about Auraya's and his relationship.
I read Trudi Canavan's Age of Five Trilogy and once again I found I wasn't totally happy with the way the book ended for one of the minor main characters - Danjin Spear. He liked and trusted Auraya so much and then it ends in dissapointment for him? Really? Does it have to be that way? So I wrote a little story where Danjin tries to forgive Auraya and finds his peace. And than I began thinking... is it really this easy? Some short sentences and Danjin likes her again? Obviously not the way Trudi Canavan wanted it to be or she would have written it herself. So I started to change it and take a little bit of the forgiving out and put in a little bit more bitterness, trying to balance these so that Danjin stays in character while still bringing in a bit of hope for the future.
One of Future's Endless Possibilities
At the end of Trudi Canavan's Age of the Five Trilogy Auraya and Mirar agree that the future is full of endless possiblities. Well, here's one.
At the end of Voice of the Gods it's kind of obvious that Auraya and Mirar will get back to together at some point, but I wanted to see it in writing ;)
