Hi! My name's Rikki Dennis, and I'm new to the world of Fanfiction.Net, but I have been an avid writer ever since I could pick up a crayon and scribble on paper. One of my favorite pastimes as a child was to read and tell stories, and now I find myself writing them. After I'm finished with college, I hope to become a professional writer and make it on the best-seller's list (though I don't think that'll happen anytime soon, damn you Stephen King)!
Anyway, my hobbies are reading, writing, drawing, video gaming, and watching Anime. I've had several fanfic ideas in mind, and now I'm starting to actually write some of them. I appreciate constuctive critisism, and am willing to listen to any and all suggestions. Please feel free to read and review, okay?

Currently, I'm in a bit of a PailongxJun and SakuraxLee streak, so I've been gobbling up these fics lately. These two pairs are probably the ones I feel most passionatly about in all of Anime and manga-dom. I really like any character that's a knock-off of Bruce Lee, and I love those strange, yet endearing pairs. Both prove that you can't judge a book by its cover, and that true love transcends words and hardships. Also, now that I've been watching "Oban Star-Racers" I've become a staunch MollyxJordan fan, as well.

UPDATE: 10-25-06 I know it's been a long time since I've written anything. I REALLY do want to finish these fics, and I don't want to see them die. So, before I start any new projects, I'm going to finish what I started. I've been really busy with college, but I'm currently enrolled in a Fiction/Creative Writing Class, so my desire to start writing again has been rekindled. Hopefully, by around January (which is the end of the semester) I'll start posting things on a regular basis again. I've actually been collecting the Shaman King Manga, which will help me a lot with those two fics that I've been working on.

Future Projects:

Final Fantasy 9 Titles: "A Gift from the Sea" (Tentative Title) Pre-continuity fic. Everyone knows how Adelbert Steiner was sworn to protect the Princess Garnet from harm, but she was not the true heir to the throne of Alexandria. Who was the REAL princess? What sort of relationship did Steiner have with her, and how did she die? How did the young Pluto Knight react when Garnet washed up on the shores shortly after the real princess's death. (Mutichapter 10?)

"Shaman King" Titles
"The Pride and Honor of the Tao Dynasty"
This is a pre-continuity fic of Ren's and Jun's childhood, from young children, to the time when they leave for Tokyo. It shows how they aquired their respective mochirei, how they developed their powers, and their love for one another, despite the hatred for humanity bred into them by their family (this is NOT incest, just pure brotherly-sisterly love. Their will be plenty of PailongxJun moments as well). You will also learn more about Bason and how he came to serve the Tao Family. Multichapter (probably 10?)

"Second Chances"
Post-continuity. Pailong finds out that his wife will be coming to Tokyo for the annual Oban Festival (a Buhddist holiday celebrated in late summer, families gather to spend time with desceased loved ones and honor their ancestors). He asks Anna to help him one last time, so that he will finally get the chance to say good-bye and his wife will receive closure concerning his death. Contains PailongxJun moments. One-shot.

"Skies of Arcadia: The Legend Continues"
(Tentative Title, until I come up with something better!) Inspired by my friend Yubaka’s fic, this takes place 200 years after the defeat of Ramirez by Vyse and his companions. Though Valua has lived in the peace created by Enrique and Moegi, greed and ambition threaten to shatter all that they have worked for. Vyse’s descentant begins a quest to search for the legendary treasure left behind by the legendary Pirate King, while the descendent of Enrique makes it her duty to help a lost Silvite regain his memories and find his way home. Is there a connection between Valua’s search for the mysterious Black Moonstone and the arrival of the wayward Silvite? Why was he sent here? Who are the Silvites? Are the Gigas about to be resurrected once more? And can evil truly be destroyed, or is Ramirez’s influence working against the descendents of the heroes who beat him centuries before? Can the descendents of heroes live up to their names? Multichapter (Probably a lot…)

Pre-continuity leading into the first season story arc. I had always been drawn to the tragic presona of Rezo, the Red Priest, and I've had this idea mulling in my head for a while. Ever since I read that poem by John Milton "Of His Blindness" I've been inspired to write a fic about how the young Rezo grew up and began his slow descent down the path of darkness. I also wanted to examine more closely the relationship he had with his grandson/great-grandson, Zelgadis. (Multichapter 10?) OFFICIALLY IN PROGRESS!

(Tentative Title) Pre-continuity, leading up to the beginning of the game. This is about Rue (my favorite character) and how he awakened from his sleep within a ruined atalier and his quest to discover his true identity. He meets a young woman named Claire who wishes to understand this strange boy and to help him in anyway she can.
