Enjoys: Writing, reading, watching DVDs, making music videos, sticking new characters in canonical storylines (It's fun, even if people don't like reading them).
Disclaimers: Most of the things I write take place in other people's playgrounds; therefore, I do not own anything that happens in them. There are, however, a couple of characters I would like to lay claim to.
Warnings: I like slash. And I get cranky when I have to ruin a perfectly good budding romance because I need to put up warning which, as it turns out, people seem to ignore anyway. So, for the record, I like to write about slash! Not all of my stories have slash in them, but it's a preferred romance.

Int. Kirby Plaze Building – Apartment (Floor 42) -- Night
"Jessica" is beating Niki up. Niki isn’t fighting back. "Jessica" hits Niki into the mirror, smashing the glass.
Candice (as Jessica): How many times have I saved your ass? I'm the only reason that you're still alive.
"Jessica" shakes her hand to loosen it up.
Candice (as Jessica): Whew.
Niki catches a glimpse of her alter-ego Jessica in the mirror.
Jessica: That's not me. Stop her. Find Micah.
Niki: What?
Jessica: I said stop her. That's not me.
"Jessica" turns and sees Niki talking.
Niki: I'm not strong enough.
Candice (as Jessica): Who the hell are you talking to?
Niki punches "Jessica" in the face. The force of the super-strengthened punch sends "Jessica" flying across the room. Niki looks down at her hands with amazement. "Jessica" is out cold. As Niki watches, "Jessica" changes back to Candice. The Micah who was dead on the floor vanishes.

Tara: (OS) Things fall apart. They fall apart so hard.
Cut to the Summers house. Willow is lying on the bed with some homework, but looking in surprise at the doorway. She sits up on the edge of the bed.
Willow: Tara?
Reveal Tara in the doorway, leaning against the door frame.
Tara: You can't ever... (sighs) put them back the way they were.
Willow: Are you okay?
Tara: I'm sorry, it's just ... (deep sigh) You know, it takes time. (walking into the room) You can't just ... have coffee and expect-
Willow: (guilty) I know.
Long shot of the two of them -- Willow sitting, Tara standing -- with a considerable distance separating them.
Tara: There's just so much to work through. Trust has to be built again, on both sides... (Willow looking upset) You have to learn if ... if we're even the same people we were, if you can fit in each other's lives.
Willow continues looking at Tara, sadly.
Tara: It's a long... important process, and ... can we just skip it? Can-can you just be kissing me now?
Willow looks hopeful, then delighted as the words sink in. She smiles widely, jumps up. Tara meets her halfway and they kiss passionately. Angel

Angel: "No."
Darla: "No? It's really not, is it? We did so many terrible things together. So much destruction, so much - pain. - We can't make up for any of it. You know that, don't you."
Angel (after a beat): "Yeah."
Darla: "This child - Angel, it's the one good thing we ever did together."
Angel lifts Darla's hand between both of his and pressed it against his lips.
Darla: "The only good thing."
Angel buries his face in his hands, still holding onto Darla's, takes a sobbing breath.
Darla: "You make sure to tell him that."
Darla is holding one of the splinters of wood and buries it in her chest, gasping. Angel lifts his head and stares as Darla turns to dust.
Where Darla was there is now a naked human infant lying in the rain, crying.

Reasons Not to Legalize Gay Marriage?

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction and air conditioning.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans...
