November 1st: Okay, so, "That's Life" goes poof! My apologies to (I think) the one person actually reading it, but the more I re-reading later parts of In the Shadows, the more I thought that this story just doesn't sit right with me. That being said, I really like Danny and Christian, so I might do something with them in the future. But until then, well... I guess it's back to the drawing board for me. Next time, I spend more time working out the kinks of a story before I post it (I guess, if nothing else, That's Life showed me some of the things not to do when writing a fanfic).

October 22nd: The unawaited second chapter of my "That's Life" series has been started. If you're interested, take a look. If not, no worries.

September 13th: Holy. Crap. A new story.

May 10th: What's this? Over two months and still nothing? Considering I'm not sure if anyone even reads this, I guess I'll just leave it at that (although I swear I'll get out of this rut if it's the second last thing I do).

March 3rd: So... still haven't found anything to write that keeps my interest for more then a week. Just updating this page for the hell of it. Does anybody even read this junk?

January 15th: Anything written before today was done so by an immature fanboy who knew absolutely nothing about the world. Now, I am still a fanboy, and I still know next-to-nothing about the world. However, I'd like to think I've grown a bit since the last time I posted fanfiction. Today is the start of the rest of my life, and with any luck, I'll have found something to write that keeps my interest for more then a week.

Reasons Not to Legalize Gay Marriage?

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction and air conditioning.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans...
